Le Bus du Carrelet

Set on the bank of Europe's largest estuary in Blaye, this lovely restaurant is really something else. We got a table facing the water just as the sun was setting so it was a perfect start to dinner. Good menu with mainly burgers options. My daughter got the Burger Ende which was a veggie burger consisting of 4 big falafels with salad and cheese, and a side of chips. Good value for money.
My husband and I got the shrimp for starters then the fish and chips which was delicious. All the staff were friendly.

As tourists we were looking for a nice restaurant with a nice vibe. We found it 100%! Great place to eat and have a cocktail with a beautiful sunset. Great and friendly staff! 5/5

A great find for a Snack, drink or spot of lunch. Very quirky, with an old London bus as the kitchen. Food was delish and promotly served. Staff polite and attentive but not in your face. Fabulous views of the Gironde Estuary where you can watch the world sail by....
Go try it, you will enjoy it.....

Fantastic service, the best place we went in 2.5weeks for allergies, I was very impressed. It was also very reasonably priced and very good food. Would definitely recommend. The service was fantastic.
There are wasps in the summer months, but the view, service and food make up for that!

Amazing dishes prepared with local products and flavors to die for. Very nice, fast and friendly service. Fair prices for the food but extremely expensive drinks.
Highly recommended to eat but be careful with the drinks.

Coolest and only place we went for a drink at while in Blaye. Right on the river and a chilled young vibe. Def worth a visit

Wonderful place close to the "estuaire" to enjoy very good dishes with local products and beautiful sunset. It was a very nice evening shared with my family and friends. I highly recommend it.

We had lunch at this place by the river. Very nice atmosphere and excellent view over the river. Food was also very good and service ok.

De passage, quel endroit charmant ! Ambiance sympa, service agréable et on s'est régalés!!! Les burgers et frites excellents et le menu enfant parfait et à petit prix. Belle découverte 👌

Par où commencer ? Accueil sympathique lors de la réservation par téléphone (conseillé vu le monde quand je suis arrivé par cette belle soirée de fin mai). Serveuse aux petits soins, et sourirante. Et le repas aura su ravir mes papilles dans un rapport qualité-quantité-prix qui est à la hauteur. Merci.

Lieu atypique. Belle ambiance. Nous avons dîné en haut du bus. Superbe vue sur un magnifique coucher de soleil. Le burger au chorizo excellent pain fait maison ainsi que les frites. Personnel très sympa. Mention aussi pour le tartare de saumon. Merci à toute l'équipe et belle continuation

Sehr leckeres Essen und Cocktails in einem ausgefallenen Ambiente.
Das Essen wird entweder draußen an Tischen im Sand oder im Bus serviert.
Der Service ist extrem freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind nicht zu teuer.
Besonders schön ist es an einem Abend mit Live-Musik von lokalen Bands.
Die Pommes Frites schmeckten uns außergewöhnlich gut😋

Eine tolle Location, sehr schön gelegen, mit guten Speisen und Getränken. In jedem Fall am Abend beim Sonnenuntergang besuchen, vorher aber reservieren.

Visite de Blaye, et déjeuner du midi à l' étage du bus, concept original et déjeuner de qualité, le tout avec vue sur la citadelle et l' estuaire.
Une belle adresse si vous passez dans le coin.

Super expérience dans un lieu totalement insolite.
Nous avons dîner dans le bus, c'est très sympa dehors aussi.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix au niveau de la nourriture.
Il y a des choses simples et des plats plus raffinés, ils ne sont pas en reste pour le choix des vins.
Très bon concept avec de la simplicité, de l'authenticité, et de la qualité
