We had the two course lunch,fish soup with rouille and gruyère croutons, fantastic, something that you won't make at home, absolutely delicious. The other starter was a prawn and salmon salad. For mains a sirloin steak,and a trio of fish with vegetables and a superb sauce. Excellent coffee to finish. Worth a detour. Lunch finished at 2pm,no exception.

Excellent quality food at a reasonable price. The wine on the other hand, whilst excellent, was very expensive, with apparently no inexpensive options.

We had two delicious meals here and would recommend this restaurant highly. The food was excellent and the service attentive.

Excellent experience with caring personel and delicious, affordable food. I had the tourteau, the quenelle, and the pear, and all were high-level well-balanced cuisine. I strongly recommend the Café de Paris!

If you are staying in Cherbourg this restaurant is highly recommended, silver service, helpful waiters and Sommelier, prices are very reasonable and advertised, warm welcoming atmosphere and they all speak fluent English. The food was excellent 🍷🍷🍷❤❤❤❤

This restaurant has been the first choice of many a yachtsman through the years. And easy to see why. Reasonably priced, excellent food, and a good quality setting, with attentive waiters who only want your experience to be one you will enjoy and remember, and hopefully share with others. Well, here I am sharing it with your goodself. Enjoy. And best book a table - it fills up fast!

The staff and the food was excellent. The foie gras and roasted duck in peppercorn sauce was phenomenal. There was also a shrimp dish that we ate that was out of this world. Highly recommend this restaurant. We were a group of eight. We were served in a timely and courteous fashion. I only speak English and the waiter was great.

Excellent restaurant with incredible food and friendly staff. A short walk from the hotels on the harbor. True to form dinner is an event so be prepared for 2 hours. The duck fillet is outstanding!

Tasty delicious food, quick and efficient service. I had salmon with vegetables and sauce on the side- perfect for SW. it was a cold Monday night and the restaurant was warm and busy with locals and people on business. Recommended.
