Friendly staff and excellent food, we had the cote de bœuf - absolutely delicious

I loved this affordable hotel and restaurant! Food was delicious, and the room was exactly what my wife and I were looking for as we toured Normandy and then headed west to Mont St. Michel. Le Haye was a charming little town that provided a great dinner and place to rest in between the two tourist areas.

I always enjoy the steak here, hubby loves the pork or lamb chops.
They're now doing two vegetarian options too and that's a good start, hopefully more options will be available at some point. It's certainly better than being told to take a burger out of the bun and eat the bun as a previous veggie friend was told to do 😣

Food first class and meats cooked on an open fire to perfection.

We highly recommend Le Commerce. The authentic food is always to a high standard and delicious, the atmosphere is great and Betty and the other staff are lovely. Whenever we come to France we eat here and sometimes stay too. You won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing esp the Entrecôte steaks they cook on the open fire. Staff were v friendly and the place had a great authentic French ambiance.

Lovely little restaurant, always a good sign when you see lots of locals going in for lunch. We had set lunch starter, main and cafe for €12

Lovely Ambience! In a rush, so just had a main course; Porc for me and Steak for my wife which were both delicious. €29 including 59cl of red wine.
