Wonderful tour, beautiful setting and very interesting. And the best champagne!

Where to start! This has been a wish-list Champagne house since we owned a wine shop in 2007. The footprint is deceptively large in the village. Our passionate guide, Jorome, went over and above in describing the history and unique wine making process of BS. Stepping into the famous Clos de Saint Hilaire was the highlight.

This was the best tour that we did in the champagne region. Jerome, our tour guide was outstanding and very informative. The facilities are exceptional, and this shows why their champagnes are amongst the best in the region. The tasting felt very exclusive, with an extensive range of their premium champagnes. Make sure to book the tours well in advance.

This is one of my most favorite wineries ! It is very impressive inside . However , before going there for a visit make sure that it is open on the day of the visit

Without doubt, the only Champagne house to visit in Epinay. Jerome made the experience, his knowledge and passion for this exquisite champagne made the tasting so much better.

Amazing place! Amazing Champagne! WOW!!

You know there has been very few places that get to a large scale production but still keep that small business feel of the human touch, which some of the other places have lost. Writing a review now though I've visited the house in June of last year.

The house runs tours once or twice a day for a small group of people with a tasting of 5 or 6 of their champagnes from the most basic Extra Brut to the most exclusive Nicolas Francois Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon. The house grounds are kept in pristine condition and have some the best plots on which the grapes are grown right next to the founder's house. The house from what we were told is still occupied, which is wonderful to see that the owners are still involved in some little way with their ancestor's creation.

The cellars are amazing and are a must to visit. And champagne!!... Oh the champagne....

Tremendous tour that showed us the process used by Billecart-Salmon to create their champagne and why they believe it is so special. Passionate and interesting. It was wonderful to hear about a family company with so much history. The tastings at the end were a true reward

World class, historic family-run champagne house. Excellent wine making with amazing results. From entry level, the world famous rosé, vintage or cuvées de fondateurs, the range offers a great access to what champagne is about and can deliver. Beautiful guided tour of garden, house and wine cellars. Must visit!

We visited recently with brother and my family and it’s obvious that this house is a real “cut above the rest” obsessed by excellent quality and process an amazing experience. Jerome our guide was a real professional, informative, passionate and extremely knowledgeable. I would only recommend this wine house for a visit in Champagne.

From the Clos St Hilaire to the Cellars to the Tasting! Superb..... can’t wait to go back.

A great family-run house. Exclusive and excellent champagne. Friendly when they know you are coming! We had a 3 hour tour and tasting which was fantastic. You really get to see the process and stepping into the Clos out the back is magic.

Make sure you book and know the champagne already before visiting. This is an advanced tour for fanatics!

P.S. There is a lovely square on the canal just 100metres up from the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Billecart-Salmon domain. Patricia was a great host and tour guide, very knowledgeable and passionate. No pretentiousness, just a real love for their products.

The tasting at the end was the icing on the cake, we had the chance to appreciate a variety of Billecart-Salmon Champagnes. Definitely the highlight of our Champagne trip!

Fun experience, wow the overall attention they give to understand what a person is looking for and understanding and opening the guest minds to what champagne the like. Was informative and great bubbles. Mind you I don’t drink but my wife highly enjoyed them. Maybe a little to much.

Great tour from Jerome. Very knowledgeable and really detailed. Tastings were from three excellent vintages. Expensive though (more than other houses and those in bordeaux) and make sure you book at least 3 weeks in advance.

Our tour and degustation at Billecart Salmon was our favorite experience during our last trip to France. Our guide was a wealth of information, and we were able to see vines being pruned in the vineyard along with our excellent tour of the production facilities. The care that this family house extends to all aspects of its champagne processes explains why their products share a delightful finesse I simply don't find in larger producers' bubbly. In a word, their champagnes are exquisite.Thank you Billecart for providing us with an unparalleled opportunity to learn about and enjoy your amazing champagnes.
