Good restaurant right beside the market, as it was a Saturday. Good for people watching. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Linguine and burrata was delicious and well cooked. Carnival pizza was equally nice and very generous topping. We would come back

🍕Pizza
The size of the pizza is generously large, with a diameter of 28 centimeters! Two pizzas for three people should be just right, while one pizza can be quite filling for a single person, especially for those with smaller appetites. This is the Italian style of pizza with a thin crust. The oven is located near the entrance, and you can watch the chef use a long peel to slide the pizza into the open flame for cooking. The pizza is perfectly baked with ample toppings and sauce. Absolutely delicious.

The hot chocolate cups are quite unique, being of an outdoor, metal style that can be heated directly on a small stove. Having a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day is the best comfort for your stomach.

The interior décor creates a festive atmosphere with warm yellow lighting. Even on a chilly autumn day with an outdoor temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, the indoor temperature is maintained at 26 degrees or above, providing a warm and cozy ambiance for diners.

The restroom in this place is top-notch, providing not only hand soap but also hand lotion. There are towels for drying hands, and even a small bed for babies, showing incredible attention to detail. It rivals the amenities of a 5-star hotel, demonstrating the dedication of the restaurant.

Had a meal here on market day (Saturday). We were able to book a table earlier in the day during the market which is advisable as the restaurant gets very busy. We had a main course and dessert plus wine and coffee. The truffle linguine was absolutely incredible and if you like creamy pasta then I heartily recommend it. Staff were lovely and restaurant was really pretty inside as well as good shady tables outside. Good options for vegetarians as well (see picture).

Really good food no nonsense food and wine. I had the veal T bone truly melt in the mouth soft and scrumptious accompanied with sautéed potatoes and a Marsala sauce. My pre dinner cocktail was amazing. It does get busy so best to book if coming in busy season

Seven of us had lunch here on 8/6/2023. We had a table outside. Tables are covered by huge umbrellas to provide shade and the square is very picturesque, making for a lovely ambience. The staff are very friendly and amenable to non-French diners. The pizzas are sublime! We ordered the Canibal, the Oriental, the Niscoise, the Vegetarienne and the Vege. I personally sampled the two veggie options and the Niscoise (with tuna). Abundant fresh toppings and the bases were a good thickness. Pizzas back home in England will always be judged by the Nord Sud standard from now on. All the outside tables were occupied at lunchtime so definitely make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Absolutely stunning restaurant! We went for lunch after numerous recommendations quoting “the best pizza they’d ever had” - and we were not disappointed!
Huge variety of options, extremely generous with the toppings, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Lovely outdoor seating in the town square and the staff were charming too. Would 100% return over and over again - to sample every pizza on the menu!

It’s an amazing restaurant in Villreal with a nice view of the church, mainly specialised in pizza, but a large amount of other types of food from many cuisines. It also is a very nice place to be

Very nice dishes, very speedy service, staff speak some English if required, good food for fussy toddlers!

A family favourite....always a lovely welcome and gorgeous food. The linguini carbanara...its not called this but (mushrooms, lardons, fromage frais and egg) is the best I've ever had.

J’ai vécu une expérience merveilleuse dans ce restaurant français situé dans un petit village. Le service était excellent et la cuisine exquise. Les installations sont délicates et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires sont attentifs tant au service qu’à la qualité des plats, tout en maintenant un contact proche avec les clients. J’ai été vraiment satisfait par la qualité et le rapport qualité-prix, qui est très accessible. Je le recommande vivement.

Dans un cadre très agréable, on a mangé dehors face à l église...
Cuisine soignée, faite maison, il y en a pour tous : viande, pizzas, pâtes, tout est bon ! Et le service très sympa.

Le bémol pour cette fois le service n’était pas au même niveau que le chef et son épouse qui travaille dans l’ombre dernière le comptoir sans s’économiser. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir
