A fantastic place on our bucket list for quite a while. There was a town festival going on during our meal. At first we thought it might ruin the ambiance but, in the end, it just added to the experience. The food was excellent and creative; the service was excellent as well. A wonderful meal. Thank you!

Incredible place, with the most passionate people in the kitchen. Iddylic restaurant and scenery, where every dish looked like an art composition. I would reccomend you to drive to L'envie des Mets!

The food was amazing! They serve a chef special menu with regional products and amazing wine. The owners are most amicable and knowledgeable. We have had a most wonderful lunch and we will surely be coming back. The chef asked about allergic restrictions and the food was served accordingly. It made our vacation one to remember and for an adorable price at that.

A wonderful dinner. Fish with puréed squash accompanied by cape gooseberries and peppery cooked radishes. A delicious white wine recommended by the server. And a pretty dessert of cake with a layer of quince paste. The server and chef were wonderful about answering all my questions! When I asked about a berry and didn’t understand the answer, they brought me a small twig of the fresh berries and wrote down the name for me. I loved the whole experience and would definitely return.

One of best restaurants in the region. We had the chef's menu for lunch. It was made from local products and it tasted very good. The two chefs are really passionate and are very friendly. The atmosphere was wonderfull in a quiet and beautiful little town. We are definitely going back!

It's a cozy place where the chefs make your meal, which is meant to be a discovery and is not written on a menu. So, you only choose how many courses, but you must trust the chefs. You go here to have a meal that you can't make at home. This is one of those places where you go to experience the fine cuisine from the chefs, and not to order this or that to fill your belly. We ate really well here and were full with a three course dinner.

With the caliber of this cooking, I would assume that you can call in advance for vegan options, etc., although I would make such requests a few days in advance because they prepare very fresh local ingredients.

When we were there, they had a dog. If you don't love dogs, maybe that would take away from the ambience for you; for us, it added to the ambience.

I joined five old friends for lunch here. It was spectacular. The food was perfect, creatively prepared and beautifully presented. The courses were delightful, really a cause to laugh and smile while eating. The chefs were our waiters, and their joy and pride in their work elevated the experience. I have never enjoyed a meal more, and don’t expect to. This is a gem.

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food in the lovely village of St. Pompon. The 2 chefs are very talented. They offer a "surprise" menu which was delicious. Be sure to let them know if you have food allergies or are a vegetarian when you make the reservation (they did ask when I called). We will return for sure!!

We had a truly excellent meal. From start to finish it had the perfect blend of fresh, seasonal produce, beautiful presentation and most importantly delicious flavours. I don't think you can find better in the Dordogne!

Very nice dinner on the gastronomic side but not overdone. Clearly a lot of attention for ingredients. A very warm and cozy design, with few tables. The village is also charming.

An extraordinary meal made all the better by gracious service in a wonderfully atmospheric setting. Highly recommend!

Ambiance romantique, service adorable par les deux cuisiniers en personne. Une délicieuse surprise quand à la qualité des plats, qui est gastronomique. On savait que la cuisine était maison, locale et de saison, mais on ne s’attendait pas à de telles saveurs, une telle recherche et application. Un grand bravo et un restaurant qui doit se partager !
