Librairie-Boutique de l'Opéra de Paris

This is a meeting point of some of the largest boulevards and streets of Paris that lead to various touristic or just important and busy areas of the city such as place Vendome, Gallerie Lafayette, Saint-Lazaire train station and lots of theatres, restaurants and bars. Today the square was full of protesters and police. Here are some views over the square from Palais Garnier.

It's one of my favorite spots in Paris! You must take time and sit in the stairs in the afternoon, there's always music or people dancing and the sunset there it's a magical experience!

The Place de l'Opéra is a square in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, at the junction of boulevard des Italiens, boulevard des Capucines, avenue de l'Opéra, rue Auber, rue Halévy, rue de la Paix and rue du Quatre-Septembre. It was built at the same time as the Opéra Garnier (designed by Charles Garnier), which is sited on it and after which it is named. Both structures were part of the Haussmannian redesign of Paris under Napoleon III of France.

A must see place. The opera is the symbol of French pride, culture and artistic view from all over Europe.
