Oh Styles... what is there to not say about it! This is one of the greatest hidden gems in Ormskirk... literally. If you can find it right away kudos to you!

Back behind the little shops downtown, down 1 of 2 alleyways dotted with tiny shops, you will come upon Styles, like a mecca in the dessert. This is seriously the place to go during the week if you just want to get out of the house. They have 2 pound drink specials every day and more shooters than you can imagine. They also have a quiz night, an open mic night, karaoke night, and live music at least 2 out of the 7 days of the week. Just a note that most of this goes on upstairs. If you just want to come hang out in a great bar with great people and atmosphere or just grab a bite to eat of their awesome food, then the downstairs will be just perfect!

I recommend going early on quiz night to get a seat for you and your group.

Bouncers are really nice, I do recommend the music on most nights but on others it is a bit of a bore, it all depends on the dj. If the students are here then there will be a lot of people in this establishment if not then then it's also a bit of a bore. I would recommend a air con unit on the top floor for when the students are in. Here are two images of some of the people I have met in this lovely establishment.

Definitely the best bar in Ormskirk.. Has a great atmosphere at the weekends. the staff are so pleasant and helpful. U can get a great pint of guiness as well (with a clover on top),. Food is fantastic as well. The couldn't believe the quality for such a low price.... I asked the barman where they got their meat from and they told me everything is from the local butchers and veg shop. I fantastic

Stunning place, this was were ormskirk was founded by admiral hornchurch in 1620. He sailed up Burscough Street on his clipper. Amazing man actually all the charges against him were eventually dropped after a plea deal and having all the dogs released from his galley! Some in suzzies! Anyway back to the matter at large beautiful place to drink and full of rich history. 👍🤌

Caught the Superbowl here for the first time. Great setup and an excellent drink selection. If I was a decade younger, I'd consider it a plus point when picking the University here 👌

Great pub to go for for the game, a drink or even to host a party. Car parking facilities nearby, plenty of seating downstairs, big screen and dance-floor upstairs. The staff are always friendly, they have a large selection of all types of drinks at reasonable prices.

Cheap bar, friendly patrons, all in all a good night out, especially recommended for students or anyone on a tight budget
Downstairs music easygoing and varied, or, if you fancy more of a club scene, the upstairs bar is for you.
(they also have a Pringles vending machine, which is amazing)

Not been here in years since I moved away, nipped in for a pint tonight whilst waiting for an Indian, nice chilled atmosphere, just how I remembered it was years ago, then left without my phone, just been back and they had picked it up and kept in the back for me, top marks Styles, cheers guys, loving your work!!!!

Great place good music and booze are pretty cheap only problem is getting a seat can be a problem as it gets busy on the weekend.

Great staff.. Great music.. Go easy on the cocktails though or else you be dancing till the morning 👍😂🍻🍻
