High quality wines and beers make this independent shop well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering good recommendations. Wide range of wines at reasonable prices, but mostly from £9 upwards so not so good for a cheap bottle of plonk. Also has a wide range of lagers and beers including many local brands.

Never been left wanting with wine bought here. Great advice on wines and a fantastic range of wines and drinks. Excellent service over a good few years since my daughter, fortunately, went to live near the shop. None better.

Always a friendly welcome for us (and our dog Charlie!) Great selection of booze - really good if you like your beers local. Always happy to offer advice or direction on what wines to have with our dinner or which whiskey we might like best. Fantastic shop.

Ive used Grape and Grind for a good few years now. During Covid they've surpassed their already brilliant customer service. The shop has a wonderful and eclectic selection of wines and more and the staff are always willing to give objective and well thought out advice. Ive just picked up a couple of cases, put together for me by the shop based on what I said I liked. I cant wait to get opening them-

It is always good to witness someone who is really good at what they do. The advice that Grape and Grind gives has been first class. They take time to understand what you want, what you enjoy and want to pay. It is a beautiful shop and really looks after you as a customer. I am now getting a box of wine every three months and each choice is a real winner. I highly recommend this wine merchant and the advice they give. Not at all pretentious and a real pleasure to deal with.

Popped in on a wet Friday afternoon and bought 4 bottles. All were exceptional quality and we were pleased with the professional service by the knowledgeable staff.

An amazing local wine and other spirits store (tequila, ciders, whisky, etc). Ran by a local family and everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. Price point s for any budget, this is our go-to place for purchasing wine!

Hmmm. Works better with Bargain Booze. Anyhoo - brilliant little offy. Lots of class. Quality drinks whatever your tipple. They even succumbed to customer pressure and stock the odd non-alcoholic drink.

Excellent local wine shop with superb advice. I asked for a very specific Chardonnay and they exceeded expectations with a delicious Chilean Chardonnay. I would highly recommend them.
