I recently visited The Hole in the Wall pub in Bristol and had an outstanding experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Irina. Despite being incredibly busy and rushed off her feet, Irina was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our meal. Her dedication and hard work truly stood out and made our dining experience special.

The food at The Hole in the Wall was equally impressive. I ordered the burger, which was delicious, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. My companion opted for the prawn linguine, and it was simply awesome – fresh, well-seasoned, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Overall, The Hole in the Wall offers not only great food but also outstanding service. Kudos to Irina for her amazing hospitality! We will definitely be returning.

Went here for Mother's Day. Top food, drinks and service. Lily was the best server. Perfect combo of checking in regularly enough without it being overkill. And attentive enough to get extra drinks, gravy and desserts when we were ready. Never felt like we were waiting too long for anything. Food came when expected and was all cooked very well. Dessert was a highlight. The sharing cheese with extra bread was great.

Good relaxed atmosphere with nice mix of people throughout the evening.

Impressed with the good selection of wines by the glass as well as various cocktails which I wouldn’t have usually expected.

We recently visited Hole In The Wall for lunch, Mum had the Panzanella salad (very tasty and refreshing) and I had the cod and chips! Nice atmosphere outside and the staff are lovely!

We came to the hole in the wall for a company party and were blown away by how accommodating the staff were. The drinks were of a high standard with one of the best wine selections in Bristol. We ordered food at separate increments which all came out to a high standard and at a timely manner. We particular want to highlight how easy it was for us to set up and pay for our tab through out the night. Special shout out to Irina who looked after us attentively as well as James and Josh who kept the drinks following and our table clear. Thank you hole in the wall team!

Great wee pub to sit and chill. There is a nice atmosphere here. The day we visited (6 of us) it was very busy and they were taking no more bookings for food but luckily we did get a table for drinks. Having said that, we did manage to get 3 plates of fries for our table. The staff were polite, prompt, and well presented. It is better to book in advance to guarantee a table, especially if you want food.

We had an amazing experience here. The food and the ambience is amazing. The staff is friendly, cooperative and courteous. We were served by Fin who is very apt, friendly and has a positive persona. Thank you Fin and Chef Adam for a scrumptious meal and a great experience. My family and I had a lovely time and I would surely like to visit this place again 💕💕💕

Had a great time, book in advance and it was so good. Our waiter Kye was fabulous! Very caring and friendly, he made us feel really special. Definitely recommend going here!

Saw this place while taking a walk, & I loved the name & outdoor vibes. Came back later in the evening with a friend, & it was an instant hit.

I am a huge fan of music, and the playlist was amazing, they had Bose speakers(good taste!). Got a couple of cocktails that were really good. We went inside for a bit & I really liked the seating & lighting too.

Service was good too, the guys at the bar were friendly. Can't wait to go back again.

Came to Bristol for weekend holiday. Amazing Suday Roast. I had duo beef roast which was very tender and tasty. Gravy was super delicious too. Very friendly and amazing service. Liked the vibe of the place. Would love to come back again

Had a really nice evening meal here. The food was great, but it was Frankie's excellent service that made the night really special. She was so sweet, helpful and friendly, and a real pleasure all evening. Thank you Frankie! Big shout out to Logan too for being as brilliant as ever 😊

Absolutely lovely dining experience and most definitely will recommend Hole in a the Wall to others! Ambience was perfect, everything neat and clean, and our server Gaby was delightful and made sure everything was perfect. Myself and a friend ordered the premium fillet and ribeye steaks, which were cooked to perfection (thank you Chef Adam!) There was a lot which appealed to me on the menu, and the starters we had were delicious.

Good beer, great food, and good service.
A huge piece of cod that was in a light, crispy batter. The fillet steak ciabatta that my friend had was also very good. Served with a beef dripping accompaniment which was delicious.

Me and my partner chose to have dinner here yesterday and we were not left disappointed! The food was divine. We had squid and halloumi sticks to start which were fab and left us excited to taste our mains. My partner chose the pork and scallop dish which had lots of flavor and the perfect texture. I decided on the lamp rump and it was delightful from start to finish. For an end to a sweet evening they had a great deal which was a mini pudding with a cocktail included! Prices are a slightly higher than other places but I think the quality of the food reflects that. Great atmosphere, amazing food and friendly service, will certainly be back here again!

Food is delicious and fish is fresh. Chips are great too. We waited quite a while for the food to arrive but it is worth the wait.

Came here for a meal with friends, and we couldn’t be more pleased! Food was lovely, (I had the pork belly with scallops which was a particular highlight), but what really made the night shone was our lovely waitress Java. She was perfectly attentive, and made us feel welcome right from the get go. Couldn’t recommend enough! 😄

Had a Lovey meal out with my girlfriend here, brilliant food made by Ram! (I would definitely recommend the rotisserie chicken… Superb!). Great service from the waiting staff Lily was extremely attentive and extremely helpful. Will definitely be coming back 😃

The king prawn, crab and ortiz chorizo linguine was amazing! The spice was perfectly balanced! Definitely recommend! The service to bring the beers were a bit slow probably because of how many staff were working at that day but this wasn’t something that affects the experience! I’ll come back if I’m back in Bristol!
