SPAR - Saundersfoot

Stayed in Saundersfoot in May for our 49 years Anniversary my husband who suffer s with dementia went shopping to the Spar more then once staff was brilliant to him 👏 helping him all the time so thanks to all the staff the young lady on the till especially. IRENE PONSFORD SEE YOU IN SEPTEMBER

Friendly staff. Remarkable selection of fresh and staple goods for a small village. Integral Post Office, open 7 days a week until 10 pm was greatly appreciated when we needed cash and the two town atms were out of order!

Very useful little store.

I visited there about 3 ,4 times during this past August I was there for 5 days .I found this shop very convenient for buying sweets/ snacks / cheap souvenirs !! Also ,I was very happy to find Heins baked beans in a half can !!! That made it easy to have a good protein w/ my breakfast in the inn ( hotel ) I was staying at ! I had a slice of bread & bara brith & the baked beans & small size potato salad & Cole slaw & a hot tea in mornings for my breakfasts ! I got Cadbury hazelnut chocolate candy bars as souvenirs ,they were only £1 each !! It said that on the wrappers ,though ! Lol. They had many candies ,chocolates ,cookies,biscuits !! I was like a kid at a candy store !! Lol But,the workers there weren't too friendly !! Some were ,but two ladies weren't. I recommend this shop regardless ,though !! A great location & convenience win !! And the selections of snacks ,so on were very good !! I saw Dunkin doughnuts there ,too !! I love Dunkin.I was actually shocked to see 'em there !! Lol

Very well stocked local store and Post Office. Some nice hot food to go, and warm, crusty bake off bread to take back for breakfast. Particular liked the bacon brand they sell!

Surprisingly large store once in side, well stocked with extensive product range and professionally merchandised. Staff appeared to be professional and well trained. Free parking is available directly outside the store.

Good location and got what I needed but I won't go back. Been there 2 times and staff was rude and I felt unwelcomed.

Never in my life have I been spoken so rudely too. On a family holiday in Saundersfoot like we have done for the past 16 years and have never had any problems with this convenience store, until today when my mum was buying scratch card for her and myself I chose one and got asked for ID (didn’t have it on me but I am of age) and my mum said she was buying but the old dark haired lady said “I’ve ask you for ID” so I showed her that I had tattoos which you have to be over the age of 18 anyway and refused to serve my mum. Then went to check the price of what I was buying and a young girl asked what happened to which she responded “I’ll tell you in a second.” As we left my mum told her how rude she was to which she responded “bye” very rudely. My dad walked in to buy the ticket and when returned we found out that she was still telling people about what had happened between us.

Have been in twice this past week, staff are extremely rude, can’t operate the Amazon scanner effectively and due to this get very frustrated and huff and puff at the customer. Twice this has happened this week by 2 different members of staff. This is a service you provide so therefore get some friendly happy staff who have experience on technology and customer service.
Also the small lady on lottery and till needs to learn the basic words Thank-you! These people are in the wrong jobs!
I Shall never return and give them the satisfaction of being rude to me.

Not a very disabled friendly shop, and some of the staff working there are definitely not very friendly the old woman with dark hair and glasses won't be returning to this shop very unwelcoming

Extremely rude elderly foreign woman with glasses behind the till. Had never been in here before and she had a go because we hadn't queued in the right place. Left my goods and walked out. Not a very nice welcome to Saundersfoot for my friends from this old hag very embarrassing. I have lived in Pembrokeshire all of my life and I'm in my 50's. Vile woman.
