Kookaba Restaurant

Went to Kookaba on a cold April evening, but it was still busy. The food was fabulous. I was in a party of 8, bit it still arrived in a timely manner. I had ostrich burger and a kangaroo burger, both well presented. Probably best book if you go in peak season or weekends.

The food is lovely but even better is the service, the staff are fantastic! Will definitely be coming back when we're back in the area!

Went here last night, 4 of us. Food was excellent. The prawns in seaweed starter was absolutely delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection 👌 Well done all. We will be back soon

Fabulous restaurant in the middle of Saundersfoot. Food was plentiful and tasty. Tastefully decorated and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Had a beautiful meal here on the evening of the Triathlon with visiting family. We didn't realise it was the Triathlon unfortunately until we tried to park in Saundersfoot. Parking was obviously non existent so one of our party had to forgo the meal. The staff were fine about it and when our missing guest managed to finally find a parking spot, the restaurant did not have an issue adding their meals on to the order late. Fantastic service for this and throughout the meal itself. Huge, plentiful portions and very reasonably priced. Great place to eat on Saundersfoot and will definitely return!!

Had a great meal this evening in one of the hottest days of the year. Hats off to the chefs who stuck it out in the kitchen. We had 2 Seafood Platters and a couple of glasses of wine. Just what’s need after a stroll along Saundersfoot’s front beach. Highly recommended 👍😁.

Loved this place. The food was beautiful and lovely staff. The cheesy sweet potato fries were amazing!

Third time here in 3 years. First time was excellent, second was ok and most recent was back to being excellent. Great service and portions are large. We all enjoyed our meals and will very likely be back again

Great place and amazing food, very welcoming for families and lovely engaging staff. Great for meat lovers but caters for all, not overly expensive and quite relaxed. Highly recommended the steakado seasoning on the steaks, it's a salty peppery rub that adds tonnes of char to the meat without overcooking. The chilli addition to fries and potato skins could do with some flavour, but still nice nonetheless. Bravo 😎

We both had rib eyes- Welsh beef from Whitland. Delicious and chargrilled to perfection. With an Aussie Shiraz. Garlic mushrooms and a jacket potatoes. All very good. Friendly service too.

Lovely restaurant, very swift service. Food cooked to perfection with great choice of local beers. Thoroughly recommend.

The best food in pembrokeshire. Table service is exceptional. Staff friendly, attentive and just wonderful. I really can't praise this little restaurant enough.

Lovely meal for our anniversary. Free prosecco to celebrate. Food was great too. Good hosts.

Good value food and a nice atmosphere. LOVE the Australian theme!

This is something else, a unique restaurant here in Saundersfoot. The "Aussie" setting is relaxed and food is delicious. Menu contains many variaties and the food is fresh and tasty. The Seafood platter is a good meal on a sunny day.

Great food at this Australian themed restaurant and a huge choice of food on the menu. Although our table was not quite ready when we arrived, we were able to wait in the spacious rear garden and order drinks via a QR code supplied and they turned up quickly. Whilst waiting for our table we also saw the chef, Jonny, flashing by to collect fresh herbs from the herb garden on the corner, which is testament to the freshness and quality of the food we were about to experience.
Once seated our waitress Kyra was promptly on hand. It was a pleasure to be served by someone who was superbly friendly and polite. Being served on such a way is in my opinion what completes a dining experience.
The food was not to disappoint either. The fish was cooked to perfection, and burgers too. All accompanied by sides which complemented the meals perfectly. Overall everyone was very happy with their meals, including my wife who's birthday it was.
So a big thank you to Jonny the chef, Kyra our waitress and the Kookaba restaurant for supplying a fantastic eating out experience.

Had such an amazing time in Kookaba. Me and my wife were on our honeymoon in Saundersfoot and went to Kookaba for one of our meals.

The staff made it their mission to ensure we had the best time possible. Firstly, by decorating our table with a congratulations balloon and secondly, with bringing over a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to the table.

If the night started off perfectly, it only got better once the food arrived. The portion sizes are insane. We had the outback rack (pork belly ribs) and the minted lamb. Both meals were cooked to perfection.

We could not recommend Kookaba more, Julie and the rest of the Staff were amazing and they made our evening a night to remember forever. We will definitely be back!

If you haven't already been then you must it's a fabulous place to go but I would certainly advise that you book especially in the summer the food is out of this world and lastnight was no exception from pizza to steak to burgers to kangaroo it's excellent all of the dishes are freshly prepared and all of the steaks and ribs are cooked over a live flame range a well stocked bar and the service is second to none from the moment you enter the establishment until you leave the service is fabulous I cannot recommend this place enough so go and see for yourself you won't be disappointed 👍
