Rose Cottage

We absolutely loved Rose Cottage and would recommend it to anyone!
It's a lovely, comfortable cottage, which feels really homely and is extremely clean and well kept with everything you'll need for a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, and the water pressure for the shower is fantastic!
The owners are very friendly, communicative and helpful, which made a huge difference to our holiday! They went above and beyond to help us out and ensure that we were comfortable and happy during our stay.
We will definitely return, thank you!

This is the best air b&b we have ever stayed at. Beautiful cottage, clean, well kept, has everything you could need for your stay, comfy beds, amazing shower, even milk in the fridge!
The owners are lovely and greeted us on arrival to show us around the cottage and they were only a txt away if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage, we were so impressed with how clean and well equipped it was and lovely restaurant right across the road. Walking distance to the costal path and garden space for our son to play some football. Thanks to John for being available with great communication from arrival to departure . The L’hoste Family

Lovely place and friendly host

My family and I had a wonderful long Bank Holiday weekend at Rose Cottage whilst attending a wedding at nearby Sylen Lakes.

Rose cottage benefits from it’s own parking spot situated right next to it. A real home from home and our host met us upon arrival. John is the perfect host, very friendly and able to offer advice about local eatery’s and places to visit.

Each bedroom was well appointed, with very comfortable beds. The setting of Rose Cottage is so lovely and quiet which made for a restful stay. I enjoyed a sunny breakfast in the front garden just such a lovely spot with idyllic views.

As a keen runner I explored the local area which has wonderful scenery and of course some great hill climbs!

For groceries there is a good size Co-op store within an easy five minute drive away.

We would certainly return again and recommend Rose Cottage highly!

A lovely little place to stay when visiting the area. The owner met us and showed us around. There were a few basic provisions to get us started, such as milk and tea.

It's a quiet area in a semi rural setting with little traffic - restful and peaceful. There are things to do within a 20 minute drive, including the country park with dry skiing, bike hire, beaches and family activities.

Rose Cottage has good WiFi, comfy beds and a large bathroom. In the main living area there is a sofa and two single seats, one of which recliines. The wood burning stove is a nice addition too.

Would highly recommend.
