Spokes of Bagshot

Bought remotely as Spokes had a great offer on. Being completely transparent, everything didn't go to plan and the bike was delayed.

However... This was solely due to the manufacturer and not Spokes. James and the other team members I spoke to were all really helpful, and it's at times when things go wrong that the level of customer service really shows through.

They kept in touch, did all they could to resolve the issue and ultimately offered me an alternative bike that's at least as good as my original choice.

Despite being 230 miles away from where I live I took a punt on ordering a bike online from Spokes via Cyclescheme. My experience of dealing with other companies close to where I live (Winstanleys Bikes, Wigan & Evans Cycles, Southport) wasn't great so I was even sceptical about ordering a bike online from a company I hadn't heard of before - but other reviews of Spokes gave me enough confidence to take the plunge and in the end, I need not have worried.

I spoke with Dom (mechanic) and despite Cyclescheme not being his remit he was super helpful in getting the order processed for me with minimal fuss - even recommending a pedal upgrade to fit within the value of my Cyclescheme certificate. The bike came in good time and once assembled really looked the part. I did notice however a minor defect on the saddle. I emailed Dom about it and I half-expected Spokes to ignore or not care as it was a relatively trivial issue - but I was blown away by the level of after care customer service as Dom arranged delivery of a replacement saddle, no quibble, and even threw in some extra freebies. I was completely taken aback. I can't think of many other companies who would go above and beyond in this way - particularly for a long-distance online customer to which they have no prior affinity. Thanks Dom and the rest of the Spokes team - a credit to your profession!

I bought my daughter's bike from Spokes last month as it was the the best price around by far. We were going away mid December too & when they heard this they went out of their way upgrading the delivery to ensure the bike arrived early for Christmas! Many thanks to all at Spokes and they are highly recommend!

We had zero bike-purchasing experience, but my family were welcomed by the staff at Spokes of Bagshot! A recommendation for our 6-year-old daughters first bike was advised and they went the extra mile to order in the colour she wanted. I also returned on a later date to purchase a bike as a surprise for my wife on her birthday.

Absolute 5 star service from James and the team at Spokes. To be fair, the amount of money I spent there I would expect great service, but even before committing to purchase James was answering messages at all times of the day and night. Indeed, it was this communication which finally convinced me to buy from him.

I have been trying to choose which e MTB to get and Spokes of Bagshot had some really good deals. When I enquired with James to help me decide, he couldn't be more helpful. Very informed and always rang me back (even though he is really busy). I couldn't recommend him enough. Once I made my mind up the bike was delivered the next day, absolutely amazing service, thank you so much.

Excellent service from Spokes. I took my bike in, having had trouble with my bottom bracket. Thought I would have to leave it with them, but they replaced it there and then in 15 minutes, saving me a fair bit of hassle. Good lads.

I purchased a dropper post and had it fitted, James was very helpful in choosing one and Dom (the mechanic) did an excellent job of fitting it. Both are knowledgeable and easy to chat with, and I would recommend Spokes.

My experience with Spokes has been fantastic. It is hard to find bike shops that are knowledgable and responsive. Spokes delivered this today by the bucket load. They couldn't be more helpful, gave me plenty of options and were super speedy in replying to my emails.

Was going through some tough times and I needed help on two diffrent occasions, went in and spoke to James the owner and without hesitation he was happy to help with fixing my bike on a no fee basis.
I am no longer going through hard times and I reimbursed James for his kindness.
Such a great guy and staff along with the store and the stock awesome selection, Customer for life.

What a great experience and atmosphere. I was on the look out for my first full sus mtb and the team were brilliant. A special thanks to Nigel, really welcoming and made the purchase a really enjoyable event. We even had a laugh during my demo! I’m sorry I can’t remember the young lad’s name who set my bike up, he took the time to explain the process and whys. All round a great visit end to end, and I have a bike I’m very pleased with, and shop I would happily return to time and time again. Thank you.

Great local bike shop. Visited as they participate in my works cycle to work scheme. They were one of the few local shops that had stock of the bikes I was interested in. They understood my requirements perfectly and matched me with a fantastic used/approved bike. Very friendly staff who are always happy to explain anything you're not sure on.

My new, local bike shop. Went in today after a another shop both caused and failed to rectify an issue on my bike. The team at Spokes were polite, professional and informative. Will certainly be using these for all my biking needs in the future!
