Had a great weekend away with the children. Caravan was lovely and clean. Staff were amazing and friendly. Lots of activities for the children. Will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at the resort. The caravan we stayed in was perfect, clean and tidy. The location was great, nice and secluded which meant it was really peaceful and the stars were incredible on a clear night. We spent most of our time on the beach, it had nice sandy sections but also great rock pools for exploring. Although the site is next to the railway you hardly hear the trains going by which I was surprised at. Our kids loved the arcade and the staff who worked in there were friendly. A great holiday all round.

This was our 4th visit to Camarthan bay and always had a lovely time. This time however the weather was awful rained for 4 days we were there when it should have been 7 days. Our Chalet was lovely clean and newly decorated. But weather was so bad it started to come through the patio doors. The staff were brilliant and helpful the food was great. The car park was flooded and also the lanes out of the park. Our daughter was arriving Saturday and her holiday was cancelled due to floods. We decided we had had enough of the rain and went home. We were very sad that our once a Year holiday was cut short, but there's nothing anyone can do about the weather. 😭💦

The last time I stayed on a holiday caravan park was in Surrey and was by far the worst experience of my life I swore I'd never do it again. However, we were visiting and booked a few nights here as a resting place whilst getting away with the kids. What a lovely change... the view is beautiful, situated on a bay and surrounded by hills and scenery. Yes you need to be able to travel, but we come from a busy town some 6 hours away, so the quiet remoteness suited us.
The caravan had its heating on ready for us, the shower was lovely and the place was clean and tidy, with the basics you'd need.
The restaurant is amazing, food was always cooked well and arrived in good time, the drinks were served very quickly upon ordering. Staff were all friendly both on site, in restaurant and arcades, doormen etc.
At night there was no noise, it was peaceful (however we were right at the end of the park).
We will definitely book to come again, we don't feel 2 days was enough for us...it has definitely built my confidence up again for taking the kids to these resorts again.

I absolutely love it here 8 am a single mam of two kids I have been coming here for 6 plus years , the staff are amazing including the shop staff I always feel welcomed and at ease which is mad for me because I suffer bad with anxiety , the food is always spot on , and the caravans are always clean, don't get me wrong sometimes they are not ways modern but I am currently hear and I don't know if they have upgraded but the caravan is massive and really modern , i arrived and maintenance was here fixing a cupboard but I would rather them be here fixing it than leaving it broke and he was super friendly ! Same as the first time I came here my toilet was broke in the caravan and they gave us keys for another van to use that toilet ! All part of the experience and me and the kids have a right laugh here , I would definitely recommend and we also have fun watching the train go by every so often ,if you grew up on caravan holidays like I did as a kid cannot recommend enough , even coming here for my 30th in October ! Definitely a home away from home !

I would like to start of with these reviews I've been reading as non of them have really been fair yea a train track is right behing the site but it's a small train barley no noise and probably only comes by 3-4 times the site dosent look old or run down and venue was not that cold staff were amazing !!! Quick and friendly entertainment was perfect for kids and adults restaurant has outdoor space overlooking the beach its gorgeous whoever only problem we had was ants in our caravan when we first walked in said on the table there may be ants and there was nothing they could do bout it and to not leave anything out so as you would we put our food in the cupboards as we stayed for week came back ants were all over our food frustrated and angry as we had so many ants not just near our food in the bathroom kitchen and even bedrooms we didn't leave anything out but still got loads of ants which as a whole ruined our experience as we think as a company u should do more to prevent it whoever given 5 stars cause everything else was amazing lovely beach lovely food great staff clean caravan and venue we would 100% stay again if ant problem got solved !

My partner and I arrived at the caravan on the Friday. Beautifully cleaned and has everything in there you need for the week. Pots, pans, casserole dishes, utensils, an oven, freezer fridge toaster kettle etc. The bathroom was a lovely size with a wicked power shower. Our double room was a great size with plenty of storage space. Our nieces joined us on the Monday then. They loved their little twin room. Was perfect for what we needed. There was a bench table right out side our caravan and a park right opposite, so they were able to play safe when we were still in the caravan.
The beach was a stone's throw away. The club house was lovely and accommodating. All the staff were lovely. There's plenty to do there without leaving the site too. We don't drive so made the most of it. We're already looking to go back again.

We stayed here in early April 2023, family holiday; Parents and Kids (16yo and 11yo)! We had a great stay. We had a Felinfoel Caravan, perfectly usable and clean with nearly enough room (we would probably upgrade to a 3 bedroom were we to stay again so the kids had more room).
The Park itself was really good;
*On the beach, literally on a beach.
*Bar/restaurant was clean, served a good selection of drinks, served a good (and tasty) selection of food, staff were attentive and helpful. There's a pool table and a soft play area for kids (under 1.1 metres) within this area.
*On site shop (Nisa Local), well stocked, a little pricey (to be expected), could be open later into the evening for more convenience.
*Indoor Pool is fun, as is the slide. Make sure to book a slot, it is not first come first served. Booking is easy.
*WiFi throughout site (including your accommodation) is very good, much better than expected.
*Outdoor play area, within the main bulk of accommodation, really good for all ages and includes play equipment and a ball court.
*Entertainment area, spacious and comfortably air-conditioned, with it's own toilets, bar and small toy/sweet shop.
*Arcade!! as a space where we spent quite some time (I love a 2p machine) it was one of the best arcades I have ever been to. The staff were constantly ensuring everything was working, well stocked, clean, usable. They addressed any issue immediately.

All in all this was an excellent place to stay, our experience was very good and we were very pleased.
The local attractions were good, particularly Kidwelly Castle and Dinefwr Castle/Newton House. As with Wales everywhere to a while to get to, and back from: not traffic just winding, hilly, A & B Roads for the most part.
Summary; park great, staff great, would recommend!

Very clean and peaceful park. Enjoyed the pool and flume. Lovely walk along the bay collecting shell's. Comfortable caravan. We mainly used it as a base to visit the area having not been to Wales before. Everywhere was very lush.

5 stars for the wonderful Reception ladies who were so lovely to our birthday boy this week end! Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated the fuss they made of him. Thankyou so much! The park itself is in a lovely spot and we loved the view of the water from our accommodation.

This was our 3rd stay at Carmarthen Bay and it was absolutely wonderful as always. The site is incredibly clean as are all the caravans we have stayed in. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Beautiful play park for the kids and the swimming pool is brilliant (We had no problems with the booking system) We don't use the entertainment or the restaurant so can't comment on those. The beach is absolutely beautiful (head down there for sunset and you will not be disappointed). We have great fun beach combing and looking in the rock pools and it's perfect for the kids to paddle when the tide comes in. The site is down a long winding country lane but there are plenty of pull in spaces so it's easy enough to navigate. It's so quiet and peaceful here, absolutely beautiful. Overall we have had 3 great holidays here and made lots of happy memories, can't wait to come back next year :)

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery, beach, estuary and the shipwreck when the tide is out. Our chalet was 20m from the sea. Fascinating to see the way that the tide ebbs and flows creating a very different backdrop. It must be seen to appreciate.
The facilities are of a good standard and the staff that we met were amenable and helpful.
Bonus, the crazy golf is free!

Myself and my friend and my 2 dogs rented a chalet from a private renter. It was my 1st time to west wales and considering im only from pontypridd this is so embarrassing... Anyway, i was delighted with the scenery such a beautiful place, it was breathtaking i and my 2 dogs absolutely loved it. There were a few downsides, the first night there was a helicopter flying about very low and until after 11pm, this we found out is where they practice their firing etand you kinda get used to it, there is also a trainline very close although this dod not affect us i can imagine it could be a nuisance if your Caravan or chalet is close by.
Then as i dont drive i was disappointed to find the shop closed at 6 most evenings and through the week it was very poorly stocked however, friday came and the shop.was full ready for the weekend. We ate out all week in the boathouse and using the app saved us some money as there are discounts at certain times of the day, some of the food was overpriced and mediocre, but the fish and scampi was absolutely delicious and so fresh. They have bingo every night with absolutely outstanding prizes and artists in the showbar. There are a few arcade games for adults but the majority are for children. The amenities are all closed pretty early for a holiday resort, i think 10.30 was the latest we were out..I enjoyed myself so.much ive booked with park dean for another week away.
There is a laundrette on site which is really really handy..
All in all a beautiful place absolutely glorious views and just a perfect getaway

You know what made it a bit quieter on the site but we still had a great time.
The beach is amazing if you like rock pools and shells.
Didn't eat here so can't comment. Did sample a Coors which was nice.
All of the staff are very friendly from reception, the local shop, bar staff, cleaner and drivers going daily jobs.
Looking forward to a return visit.

The location of this site is what it is all about. It's remote but very peaceful and relaxing. There's not a massive amount to do, but for us that was part of its pull. The views across the estuary are really pretty and we could have spent hours exploring the beach. The site was spotlessly clean and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

We're already planning our next trip.

What a nice place! The local landscape is beautiful, the restaurant is in a stunning setting overlooking the sea, the staff are super friendly and helpful (Rhys in particular was fantastic and went well out of his way to help us out several times), the shop was surprisingly well stocked, and there are lots of activities for younger children. OK, some negatives - the restaurant was short stocked, and there's little to keep older kids occupied, meaning there were often noisy bored teens messing around in the evenings. But overall this is a great little site, and a good base for a short stay exploring the local area.

Fab place. We were positioned in Atlantic View which was so nice and the caravan was just immaculate. Good bingo and facilities. The reviews about the small lane to the site are so wrong and there’s loads of room for two cars down the lane😂 they obviously aren’t from Devon! Would 100% recommend the place.

We took our 2 grandsons and stayed for 4 nights.
The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.
One of the boys got a piece of seashell stuck in his foot and Ashton who was behind the bar at the time was first aid trained and came to our caravan and took the piece out for him. From the moment she walked in to the caravan she put him at ease and sorted his foot out.
The facilities were perfect for our young boys and they had a ball the whole time we were there.
The pool was lovely and warm and they had plenty of different activities to keep the boys entertained.
The food there was decent and at a good price too.
All in all it was a great holiday and we are already planning our next visit.
I highly recommend parkdean and especially Carmarthen bay holiday park.

We love this Parkdean Resort and have been holidaying here for 10 years. We stay 3/4 times a year. The park is just the right size , with a club house ( The food is excellent taste and value) a pool and a shop.
The drive down a lane to get there makes it feel like a proper get away. Tenby is 45 mins away with all holiday attractions close by ( Folly farm, Oakwood plus everything else West Wales has to offer).

The park, whilst remote, had plenty of facilities to keep us entertainment for the duration of our stay. The views across the bay and estuary were absolutely beautiful and the caravan itself was of a very high standard and made for a very nice stay as a result.

The staff were all very welcoming and helpul and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Particularly compliments have to go to Celyn in the restaurant and Alex in the arcade, who's customer service really stood out.

The restaurant and bar had an excellent choice of food, all of which was to a very high standard and very reasonably priced.

My only criticism would be the lack of transport to get people to and from trains if arriving on foot, fortunately Harbour Taxis the local company will transport you there from Pembrey and Burry Port or Kidwelly stations for a reasonable price.
