Great local pub with great value food and excellent service.
We stayed at a local CAMC Cl site (Glantowy farm) and came here for food a few times, each time the food and service was brilliant.
They have a great value steak and pudding night and the Sunday carvery was very nice too.
Not open every day so check for opening hours before you go. Made to feel very welcome when we first got there too with everyone asking where we were from etc.
All in all a great pub and would definitely return when we're in the area.

We stopped at the Emlyn Arms for lunch on a chilly Wednesday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the welcome and the food. The hostess put a log on the fire which somehow made my curry and chips even more tastier than it was. “It’s the little things in life that count.”

Came here for lunch on Wednesday when daughter came to visit and found that dogs are not allowed inside. The weather was good so sat outside. We had steak it was delicious cooked to perfection 2 had rare 1 med rare. Came back on Sunday for the carvery again it was delicious. We had 2 courses carvery and pudding. We sat at the table underneath the sheltered smoking area incase it rained. Stayed dry. We are back in the area in 2 weeks so will definitely be back again.

Excellent pub which was spotlessly clean. The staff were very good and welcoming. The food menu was extensive, very tasty and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the desserts. We will certainly visit again. Ardderchog!

This is a hidden gem. Had a lovely weekend staying there. The room was lovely and very well equipped. The breakfast was superb and we also chose to eat our evening meals in the pub too. The hostess was friendly and attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

What a gem, lots of Welsh speakers here but Also up for a chat with this English man. A proper local pub that welcomes you and the chips are awesome. Only stopped for a lunch time snack but had a good old jaw with other pup goers.
If you need a place to stop for lunch this is it.

Pre-booked 3 vegan Sunday roasts. Everything was perfect with specific attention to detail. Also had one beef roast which was also very good. If you live local give it a go!

Stayed one night in this pleasant and modern b&b room above the pub. Room has a large walk-in shower and 2 windows. Really friendly service and the cooked breakfast was tasty. Would definitely stay again.
