A beautiful quiet location where you can truly get away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely hosts with a friendly smile whenever you speak with them. We stayed in one of the two genuine log cabins and it was like a Swedish country cottage. Highly recommended, and we will return again! Thank you!

3 nights in the bell tent in the meadow with a full view of the fishery. A great experience in an amazing location. Quiet, tranquil and simple. The log burner keeps the tent warm and the beds are comfy too. The chilling area outside with the hammock and cooking facilities are spot on. Jamie is a true gent, very accommodating. Cannot recommend this enough!!!. And the fishing was great to top it all off.

Very quiet place. Far from "concrete jungle" .
Great spot to chill out.
If you love to read books next to fire place at evenings then this place is ideal!
Lot's of space for camping ( caravan or tent )
There is a fishing lake near by, so make sure to take your fishing gear with you.
You'll definitely like it.
I'd recommend this place rather for grown-ups wanted peace and quiet.

We have just finished a week glamping and fishing. We have had a wonderful time! Jamie is very friendly and helpful, giving fishing tips and tricks and helping with anything we might need during our stay. The little cafe is very well put together and has a lovely selection of food and drink. The tackle shop is well stocked too.
We are very keen to come back hopefully very soon.

We stayed at Meadow camp with our 2 children. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The location of the bell tent was private, yet close enough to the fishing lake, and toilet/shower block (which were kept extremely clean). Although the weather was awful, the log burner inside the tent, and the canopy over the picnic bench and cooking area made our stay very comfortable, and very enjoyable. We will definitely be visting again.

Spent the last week of August here, all I can say is that we had an amazing experience, we stayed in the Cwtch Cottage, perfect for a family of 3, the cottage was clean and cosy. The lake was great and I really enjoyed the fishing. Every one was so friendly and all were willing to give thier advice on the fishing conditions, such as what Flies the fish are going and how to fish these flies, Jamie was really friendly and was always arround to help where he could and give advice on the lake. The little lake cafe was really good we enjoyed both the breakfast menu and the lunch menu and the lady that runs it was very friendly. I would recommend Garnffrwd to anyone that likes fly fishing and has a small family.

We spent two nights at Garnffrwd in the Meadow Camp and it was phenomenal. The teepee is extremely comfortable with memory foam mattresses and a wood-burning stove. The covered cooking area is perfect to shelter from rain or intense sun and the hammock is super comfortable - not to mention the fire pit. Access to the lake all day with its superb trout fishing is a bonus but the accommodation itself is flawless.

This is possibly the best fishery in Wales. Jamie and his crew are always very welcoming and the fish fight like crazy! It's super relaxed and the place has a very natural feel to it. There are a number of Welsh champs that visit it on the regular for very good reason.

We had the best time staying at Garnffrwd Park. We stayed at Ash Lodge as a family of 4 with 2 dogs. Beautiful scenery, clean and cosy lodge lovely fishing for my husband, lots of outside areas for the kids to play. Loads of beautiful towns and castles to visit. Folly farm was enjoyed by the kids too. Jamie the owner was so welcoming and helpful. Special shout out to lovely Eva who manages the most amazing on site cafe superb breakfasts and lunches. Thoroughly enjoyed thank you 😊

We stayed at the Ash Lodge for a whole week. Had a very pleasant and restful stay at this delightful location. The lodge overlooks a fishing lake which seems a haven for fisher folk. Inside there is everything for a comfy stay...but take note there is no wifi if you have kids or addicted to your stupid smartphone....for us a blessing haha. There is also a cafe on site which serve breakfasts and meals. Owner was very friendly and kind. All in all a very happy stay here in a good base for exploring this part of Wales.

I have fished here for many years and it amazes me how James Miller keeps on managing to improve the place. When I first started fishing here I thought that it was idyllic and pretty much perfect but over the years Jamie has just somehow managed to keep improving it and it is now one of the best fisheries in the UK if not the best!!
I've stayed at Garnffrwd Park in our touring caravan too and we used it as a base for visiting West Wales as a family during the day and then sneak in a couple of hours fishing the infamous evening rise while the wife put her feet up with a glass of wine and just admired the scenery.
A stunning setting with amazing hosts and also dog friendly accommodation!
I would recommend this place to anyone as my continued use would justify!

People keep it quiet! , we don't want everyone knowing about this place,, It will be fully booked if these reviews get out :) . Now on a serious note, fantastic place to chill-out/do a bit of fishing or just walk around the place and take in the nature . The people who fish there range from beginners to absolute pros, if you have ever fly fished you know its an art-form. I thought i was proficient in it, the first day i went to the water there must of been 15 blokes fishing. Everyone, and i mean everyone was fantastic to watch. I felt so amateur compared with all of them. I asked a few questions to a young lad who was on the next peg to me. He was so helpful and not demeaning in any way. I learned so much , turns out it was the Welsh fly fishing team practising :-). So if you ever want a fantastic week/day this is the place to go. Jamie the owner is really nice and approachable, so any questions hes the man to ask. The cabins are nice and clean well designed, set up for self catering, there is a few camping spots as well in beautiful surroundings and not far from a major towns, this is the place to go if you want to chill out and fish!.

Two days fishing and two nights in the lodge. Lovely lake, fantastic accommodation, great food run by a lovely couple. Fishing can be tough but well worth the effort with 4 species of trout available, recommend highly
