Great service this morning from my initial call to book an appointment, I was directed to get a Covid Test and the surgery rescheduled my appointment for the result to be confirmed. Doctor was spot on, antibiotics and advice given and the complete surgery worked as a professional team. One happy patient. Thank you.

Have been a client of Hazeldene House Surgery for years now. Recently required assistance to get a prescription signed by a doctor before going on holiday. Couldn't fault the service provided by the internal pharmacy and the staff at reception. All very pleasant and effective. No fuss and had a signed prescription within the hour. Well impressed at the service. Thank you to all at Hazeldene House Surgery.

I always find the G.P's and Nurses friendly and helpful. I get texts to remind me of appointments or, the need to make one. I'm extremely grateful to Dr.Simon for his recent diagnosis of Angina, simply with a phone consultation. I'm now being monitored for the condition and feel reassured that I have a great team looking after me

We have been patients here for over 18 years, and are so grateful for all the continuing care and swift response to our health issues. This is a lovely surgery with a caring team who work tirelessly. Reception staff are all efficient in dealing with appointment requests, prescriptions etc; the pharmacy on site is excellent. All the doctors at the practice are dedicated to their profession, and do their utmost to diagnose and refer swiftly when needed. There have been some staff changes over the years with retirements etc, but the values of kindness and caring have never been compromised.
Given the current difficulties that the NHS has with an ever growing population, and elderly demographic, Hazeldene House Surgery is meeting the needs of these groups very well- given our experiences and observations. We have a real sense of being valued, and most importantly being listened to. All the staff show empathy and compassion to us, and we feel 'safe' here using the service.
The Patient Access account is really helpful to accessing notes and documents, and order repeat prescriptions too.
Thank you to all the team at Hazeldene House Surgery.

Amazing service once again.. .
I Don't use on a regular basis but, definitely there when needed, cannot fault the service at all.
Seen on same day and referral done with an appointment booked within 48hours, well done Hazeldene. Thankyou.

This has been my GP surgery since the mid 90s and I have to say they have been absolutely brilliant throughout this time. Always professional, efficient and effective and as we get older, the visits and the contact is becoming more frequent and the standards seem to be improving. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff. In particular I'd like to make a special mention for Rhonda and Claire on reception who go above and beyond the call of duty. When they say that they will do something or promise a phone call, it happens. We feel very lucky to have this special team looking after us, especially when you hear some of the horror stories with other surgeries. Thank you.

I have been a patient at the surgery for the past 19 years. In the early years I thought it a most unhelpful surgery. But latterly things have improved vastly.
The reception staff were unhelpful and rude. But there has been a remarkable change. They now are sensitive and helpful, in particular one long serving receptionist.
The nursing team have also more time. And the nurse practitioner is a good idea, taking pressure off the GP.
The Doctor's have come and gone over the years, some good some not so good. But the team we have at the moment seem to work well together for the good of the patient. One doctor in particular is sensitive, understanding and gets the job done. This is Dr. Simon. Long may it continue.

Our family has been using this surgery since 1983 and only have praise for the way the doctors and staff have looked after us. They do a great job under difficult circumstances and should be recommended for that. Doctor’s receptionists always get a bad press and occasionally deserve it, but that does not apply to all of them. I don’t need to name the really kind and caring ones because they know who they are, and I wouldn’t embarrass the others because we all have bad days. The new doctors who have joined the practice in recent years are understanding, really listen and give excellent advice (this particularly applies to Dr Simon), but we have no complaints about any of them. Don’t be afraid to come here regardless of what some reviewers have said. It is excellent. Sue & Bob Baker.

Generally I would not write a review but feel strongly that some comments are more than unjust. I have been a patient since moving to the Haywoods in 1978 and my family and I have had marvellous treatment in that time. Over the years we have had the ordinary ailments we all endure but as we have aged our issues have increased and the doctors at Hazeldene have always been there to encourage and support. Most recently on returning from Tenerife I was struck down with a severe bout of bronchitis, my husband spoke to Rhonda and it was agreed a home visit was necessary. Dr.Simon, our new charming GP was despatched after his very first surgery. He spent time asking questions and examining me, there was no sense of rush just interest in my well being. I have had a follow up in surgery and all is going well. Personally I feel the inhabitants of the villages are lucky in having a very professional group of people looking after their welfare, it is so easy to look at the negatives, when really there are a lot of positives.

I have to say, that the care, courtesy and kindness shown me, on separate visits to the surgery in the past two weeks, firstly, by Nurse Elizabeth Wood and then, Dr. Sunil Simon were absolutely first class. They are a credit to their profession.

We have been registered with the practice for over 4 years now and have experienced nothing but an outstanding service. The staff and GP’s go out of their way to help you and nothing is too much trouble.

Dr. Simon was very helpful once again. This was a follow up appointment to check everything was still okay a few weeks later. Been very well looked after as always.
