The Plaza - JD Wetherspoon

I've not been in since it was a cinema, the way the place has been refurbished keeping old cinema elements is remarkable.

Entering everywhere is very clean, lots of different seating options on many levels to choose, outside really big and lots of room.

Ordered food and drink with the app all came quickly and as ordered, had the all day brunch which for the price is superb.

When I visited it was quiet, can imagine it would get busy at weekends, well worth a visit.

Nice pub, very spacious with a good atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and friendly. It has a very nice garden area at the back with plenty of seating, ideal for relaxing on a warm summer day

Had a great pint of Ruddles for just £1.71. Amazing range of beers, lagers, spirits and food. The pub is well laid out with a friendly atmosphere and good to see how the old cinema used to be. We liked it so much we called in for breakfast the following morning and wasn't disappointed. A full English for £4.95. We expected cheap basic food but the good quality of the sausages, bacon, hash browns and beans etc. was unexpected. Service was excellent in Rugeley so we're becoming Spoon addicts now

Convenient to my home, a 10 minute walk. Always a good selection of Proper Beers at a stupid low price. Pleasant staff and always clean rest rooms. The only downside is that you cannot bring dogs into the Beer Garden

Hadn't been here in over 10 years and the staff were friendly and attentive. Disappointed that the car park is now an extended beer garden but parking wasn't too expensive

Visited today, very lovely spoons, I have been to many Wetherspoons around the u.k and this is up there in my favourites, beautiful building with lovely features, plenty of seating, large outdoor area, very clean, hot and tasty food, lovely and friendly staff, definitely will be back soon, highly recommended.

The best wetherspoons we've ever been to, always friendly and efficient staff and food is always served nicely, well cooked and hot.

Excellent beer garden, nicest spoons beer garden I've been to. Plenty of tables out the back. They also have some tables out the front which are pretty cosy. Ordered at the bar and through the app. Bar service was quick. App service for drinks was a little slower than normal for spoons but food through the app came quick and was lovely. Very nice and cosy interior. I'm not from the area but overall a 5 stars and will visit again when staying nearby

Came here twice now with my 18 month granddaughter and elderly dad, well looked after and good service and nice food 👍
