Waunifor Centre

We hosted a 5-day residential workshop on trauma and resilience in Waunifor with youth workers from all over Europe. The facility offered the perfect setting for this event. The meeting hall is bright and spacious. The accomodation has character, charm and modern facilities. The catering accommodated a variety of dietary needs and the staff were friendly and helpful... not to mention the beautiful Welsh countryside. All in all an excellent choice for our event. Thank you.

I had a lovely, peaceful time here. The grounds had lots of special places to walk around and sit in, and the people running it were really friendly. It was an ideal place to do some quiet reflection, and it was very easy to drive to some stunning seasides. Cottages were warm,with interesting unique pictures to look at. Will definitely book again!

I have visited Waunifor on many occasions over some years as I love the place. It is such a blessing to find somewhere clean and comfortable sitting within rural quiet and with its own unique charm. We spent our family holiday in June this year at Waunifor and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is so much to visit close by - the coast which is absolutely beautiful; a lovely walk to the river; and walks over the hills. There are also lots of small craft centres or wildlife centres not far away so there are activities for all ages plus horse riding and canoeing for the more adventurous. We have always been made to feel very welcome by the people who look after the cottages and they have gone out of there way to make our visit memorable. A wonderful place.

The lovely warm and cozy cottages, the sound of the birds and sheep, the friendly cooks of the healthy meals, the peace and quiet of the grounds and its surroundings made every visit for a seminar, retreat or workshop in the past 5 years an extraordinary experience.

The large meeting hall, with its high ceiling and many windows, offers an excellent facility for both conferences and dance/theatre activities. For a good conversation or to spent time with oneself, there are plenty quiet spots on the grounds.

From the Waunifor grounds it’s only a 15 minute walk down the Teifi river to see the fish jump and the squirrels run from tree to tree. To the small scenic beaches of the coast, it only takes half an hour by car. Plenty of other activities in the surroundings too, information is provided in the cottages. The two towns close by offer a good range of restaurants and shops.

Services from management are always provided with a friendly smile and good humor.

I would certainly recommend Waunifor for both holiday and conferences.

I have stayed at Waunifor many times and will stay there many times in the future, I'm sure. I love it! It's so peaceful. The quality of sleep I get there is second to none. The cottages are clean, warm and cosy. The grounds are beautiful with many special places. And best of all, the welcome is always warm and friendly. The area is well worth exploring too. The coast is only half an hour away and it's one of the most beautiful I've come across.

Waunifor and its surroundings offer such a clean, quiet, inspiring and invigorating experience. Over the last 10 years I attended many seminars, the large meeting hall, the cottages, the cafeteria and its lovely grounds always allowed something special. Walks nearby in nature or along the coast of Wales, conversations in the gardens or near the open fire. The cottages are well kept, the food served during seminars is wholesome with lots of nice healthy salads. It's a place that became very dear to me.

The small cottage "duck pond" is just perfect for a couple - it even has a sofa bed in the living/kitchen area - so could accommodate children as well I think. Bathroom with power shower, tv, cooker, microwave and all mod cons.
We were attending a seminar on theatrical skills in the main seminar building at Waunifor. The facilities for the seminar were also excellent and the catering - with Waunifor staff providing full meals with choices twice a day.

will definitely go back there and would recommend for groups wanting an away weekend.

I visit Waunifor already for many years. Mostly to attend conferences. I like Waunifor because of its quiet surroundings, the great large meeting hall which allows for all types of workshops and the fantastic kitchen staff who make healthy biological meals 2 times a day. The manager of Waunifor is a very welcoming host who always makes sure that all the guests have what they need to make their stay a pleasant and facilitating one. I would certainly recommend Waunifor for Conferences and also for vacation as the cottages on the estate can be rented separately and the surroundings lend themselves very well for walks and explorations of the Welsh country side.

Great place very welcoming

We stumbled across Waunifor while looking for a last minute break - we were pleasently suprised how accessible beaches and local attractions were - the cottage itself was charming and the setting quiet and relaxed. Despite having terrible weather we enjoyed ourselves.
