We have just returned from a 1 night stay. Debbie was the most amazing hostess! So very kind and thoughtful! This is such a cute little cottage the ideal escape away! Our cottage was beautifully presented, clean, very COVID secure, the grounds and views are dreamy. 100% recommend! We will definitely be heading back! Thank you so much Debbie, you were wonderful! Wish I could have taken you home to cook me breakfast everyday!

I thought that my experience was magical, my partner and I had an amazing time.
The property itself makes you feel as if time stops still. I woke to birds singing in a little paradise.

Debbie is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is comfortable and you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Do try the excellent afternoon tea and the offered treatments, simply fabulous.

What can i say, this place is so delightful. My friend & i booked the spa with afternoon tea, Debbie could not do enough for us. Firstly we got lost, so Debbie came out of her way to find us! Then we relaxed in the hot tub followed a Sauna & Steam room. We also booked a full body massage which was done by the lovely Lucy. The afternoon tea was delicious & more than we could eat. I would highly recommend River Mansion & will definitely be back when we are in the area again. The location is also gorgeous with lots of future plans.

What a stunning place to stay. The cottage was quaint and well equipped with a stunning log burner. Booked a massage through the owner and it was the best ever massage. Fabulous hot tub and seating area in a peaceful setting. Highly recommended this place if you want to chill and be pampered.

Wales is famous for many things singing and Mining are a few, the mines are generally coal and slate however we have now found a Gold Mine, it’s called River Mansion !! I have to say I hardly ever write reviews but feel I have to so I can share this gem … We have never met a more affable, helpful, friendly hostess as Debbie the fact that she has a beautiful retreat in a beautiful setting is an amazing combination… They don’t do evening meals however her breakfasts will last you a full 24 hours … The setting is magnificent, the Spa beautiful and the ambience is unrivalled… I happened to mention that I liked the local beer, Debbie then gifted us 4 bottles of local brew on our departure… There is great food at a riverside location just a couple of miles away and an awesome, very friendly pub a few hundred yards down the road.. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will be back purely just to stay here .. Thanks Debbie .. ps not many hostesses ask you to phone them when you get safely .. absolutely awesome !!!

Wow!!! What an idyllic venue. Debbie the owner really looks after you. Lots + lots of lovely food on offer for breakfast, all local Welsh produce, honey ,bara brith, waffles, large selection of cereals, croissants, crumpets, bread, melon, blueberries, raspberries, grapes , plus others i can't remember. We stayed in the Drivers cottage with a lovely log fire. All rooms rooms were immaculate. Amenities on offer were hot tub, sauna, steam room plus massage, facial , nails etc. My wife will definitely return in the future + recommend this venue which is definitely value for money.

Absolutely fabulous. It should be the standard on which B&B accommodation should be evaluated.
The hosts made every single effort to satisfy every single whim. They even wrote me a piece of paper with must see and do attractions around.
I was simply overwhelmed by the grace with which they paid attention to detail.

We have just got back from a stay at River Mansion. Wow! What a find! It was a real pleasure to meet Debbie, the owner and host, who really made our stay. She is the sort of person who, after talking to her for five minutes, you feel like you have known her for ages. We booked the Woodland View Cottage as a night away for my wife’s birthday but, on arrival, Debbie had upgraded us to the larger Driver’s Cottage, as well as adding in a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely homemade cakes. Both cottages are really cute, comfortable and nicely done out. We also booked the hot-tub and sauna package which was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny! My wife spent her birthday chilling out in the hot-tub drinking champagne, then drinking Prosecco and eating cake! Lovely! There are also several really nice and private seating areas around where you can just relax and enjoy the tranquillity. We didn’t feel the need to venture any further, but there are a couple of pubs in the nearby village which we may well try next time. We didn’t realise that breakfast was also included, which was also fantastic – giant crumpets, almond croissants and a cooked breakfast! We normally go for city centres when we book a night away or a short break, so this was very different but we are so impressed! Will definitely be back.

What a lovely relaxing weekend. Debbie and the other staff there were amazing, lots of goodies in fridge and in basket. A lovely peaceful place.
