We went to the soft play for the first time today and definitely won’t be the last time such a lovely little place very clean lovely staff , small enough that can watch both my children but enough there so they don’t get bored 💯 would recommend

Stayed at the site summer 2022. The campsite owner was super accommodating and really easy to get hold of. When we arrived he made us feel so welcome and even encouraged us to bring our little one to see the chickens. Toilets are very clean lots of choice for electric pitches too. The cafe has some very kind staff with lots of beautiful food on offer. Our main excitement was all the toys which were available for children to play with no timescale. This was so important because children rarely sleep when they're excited and knowing that we could just go play at any time with the amount of toys available was just fantastic. Thanks for a great stay!

My friend and I visited the Cup and Saucer for lunch. What a beautiful place. Absolutely delicious food! Extremely reasonable and Becky couldn't do enough for us. Can't believe it's taken me over 2 years to get there! Will 100% be returning in the near future xx

We went on a day where they had a role play room as part of the ticket price. We were pleasantly surprised. We thought the role play was the little kitchen and ice cream props that was set up in the alcove by the toilets, so when they announced the "role play room" was open, we were thrilled there was more! Towards the end, there was bubbles and songs too which the little ones loved. The soft play was perfect for toddlers. Any older and I think it may not be suitable. I felt that the junior section was perfect for the toddlers and the toddler section was better suited for babies. In terms of soft play venues, it's tiny and doesn't have much other than small slides, however all the other added extras they do makes up for it all. The grounds are lovely and it looks like there are other interesting little businesses there like a uniform shop, but we didn't venture to any of these as it was pouring down. It'll be lovely in the summer, especially for picnics! There is also a little park to play on outside the venue. We saw there were some chickens roaming freely, that was nice to see too. It wasn't too busy when we went, in total there was around 10-15 other children. We will definitely return when the weather is better.

Lovely little place. So cosy and welcoming. The staff are very polite and attentive. The food is reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Afternoon Tea...£12.99 per person. Plenty of food and bottomless tea.
Very clean and beautifully decorated. Will come again 😊

We use the bed and breakfast facility's here every time we visit Essex. The place can't be faulted with light and spacious rooms with comfy beds. They offer a family room with a double and bunk beds and a cot if needed. The staff are very welcoming and now that we have become regulars they now know how we like things and have them ready for us accordingly such as the cot made up in our room ready and having the same table for breakfast every time. The breakfast is highly recommended cooked fresh to order, nothing is too much for the staff working here.

Attended a birthday party for a 4 year old. Was lovely. Food a plenty for all the kids and adults too ... including free tea & coffee, which I guess the boys mum arranged. Plenty for small children to do. Would 100% recommend.

I stayed at the site for an extended weekend in a caravan with my partner and child. The site looked beautiful with facilities clean and cared for. We did encounter a problem when arriving as they did not have any further arrivals down for that day despite a deposit being made however the gentleman greeting us dealt with the situation magnificently.

My suggested improvements would be;

1. Have a mobile telephone number that any arrivals can contact that the site manager keeps with them; the phone number on the sign did not appear to be an active number.

2. In the modern era I would have an email confirmation sent out when a booking has been made with confirmation of deposit paid.

3. Clearly mark which tap can be used for drinking water as this did confuse my partner.

I strongly recommend this as a family friendly site with very friendly and helpful staff which is fairly priced.

Walton Hall Farm - a farm of many fronts - quite but a dynamic & vibrant environment - hidden behind long line of trees/bushes and car park! The footway is nicely paved and all-whether friendly even though the main entrance and Car Parking Area are in very poor state! 😔 😲!

The Farm runs many events in their courtyard including Christmas Market, Egg Hunt, Halloween!

The gems at this farm include -
-> a B&B, Camping Area, Caravan Park
-> Free Outdoor Play Area
-> Tots World Indoor Soft Play & Cafe - very friendly staff with a small Play frame
-> The Cup and Saucer Vintage Tea Room - majestic fabulous friendly outstanding Tea Room; very friendly owner and staff; quality of the bakery and tea are one of the best!
-> Boutique Shops
-> Uniforms by Niki - absolutely fabulous staff
-> Pet Grooming, Personal Health Therapist etc

There used to be a Farm Musuem which is now closed for good! I hope they find a way to reopen the Musuem!

Had my son's 5th birthday here on 2nd March 2017, booking was easy, I had to change the date and had one guest who was dairy intolerant and they were courteous, efficient and all the kids had a great time! Small soft play frame, dressing up, and foam blocks kept them all busy. Would definitely recommend.
