We asked for a room with a view, got one and it was excellent. The room was quiet and homel, very clean, beds with good linen bedding, that caused restful sleep. The friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel family is second to none. Port Dinorwic is a hub, leading to many places of interest.
The hotel, due to the C-19 closure, is having many changes made, but this doesn't have any effect on the hotels enchantment. We're going again next year, and hope the swimming pool is open.
Plus, I'm taking my gardening gear with me. I hope Hayden reads this😊

My partner brought me here for 2 nights, i was dumbfounded when i saw that anyone would give this hotel a 1 star review. The staff are more than friendly, always happy to help. We had breakfast both mornings, which again was great! The continental had lots to offer and the welsh breakfast was cooked wonderfully! We went to explore the surroundings with advice from the staff, the views near mount snowdon are breathtaking! You can visit beautiful places within a stones throw of this hotel. Well worth a visit for anyone looking to come to the area!

the hotel staff were first rate 5 * .The accommodation in my experience from going into many many hotels ,I would class as 3-4 * a few things were not to a standard of 4* in decor. The reception area was lovely . the view from deck 3 was amazing . the staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble . food was average. a fabulous stay. thank you Mandy for all your efforts. would love to return.

I have to say I was pretty happy with this hotel. It is situated right on the sea with a beautiful sunset view. The interior is spacious and cozy with a nice communal area.

I have to deduct a half star as one of my companions said their room felt dated - I did not share the sentiment with mine.

I'm rounding up because the price is excellent.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful. Run by brother and sister. Very spacious. Great breakfast well worth £9.99. Evening menu varied. Huge portions. Swimming pool only 1 metre deep over whole length. Plenty of car park spaces. Beautiful views over the Menai straits and the village. Highly recommended.

We found this a fantastic family run hotel were you are made more than welcome. Spent a 6 day stay visiting Anglesea and North Wales with this as our "home base"... fantastic location 15/ 30 minuets from man many of the local attractions. We stayed in a twin room with a modern refitted bathroom, lovely room, only downside a bit of noise from the fan at night. Also a big thank you for providing gluten free breakfast and meal options - made our lives so much easier!! I would strongly recomend this hotel, real customer service at its best!!

I've stayed at some swanky 5* hotels.
Greeted by formal robots. With all Mod cos, Where it's clear its just business.

But I absolutely loved Port Dinorwic.
Here, you are greeted like an old friend.
The staff are all warm welcoming, very helpful, kind, friendly and down to earth.
From the moment you walk in, you feel totally at home.
So much so, it doesn't seem apt to call them staff.
There is nothing they won't Do for you & the staff are genuinely happy & friendly.
It's not regimented & stiff.all your needs are met.
It's laid back, informal & just a great place to stay!!!

The view from the hotel is just Beautiful.
The rooms are clean and decor Is homely.
The bed was so unbelievably comfortable I didn't want to get up. As well as very nice satin bedding and an extra huge fleece fluffy blanket.
Shower and bath facility in the rooms & for once i didn't have to fiddle with a shower to get the right temperature & it stayed at that temperature.
The new bistro is a must try. The food is absolutely amazing.
Breakfast is continental or cooked, with cereal, fruit, fruit juices, yogurts, pastries & as much tea of varying types on offer, as well as as much coffee & toast as you want.
The bar is very well stocked, not just with alcohol, but a vast range of non alcoholic drinks.
We had a nice swim in the pool followed by a sauna. Heaven.
As my husband used to work in leisure for many years, we know the difference between a clean, well maintained pool & one that's not. This one definitely is!
We do not have one complaint about this hotel & in fact we're planning on Staying there again in the near future.
We absolutely loved it.
Can't wait to see you all again

This hotel is in a really beautiful location. The hotel main lobby and seating area is really very comfortable. The room that we had were extremely spacious with views of the channel between Welsh mainland and Anglesey and also, on our stay, a snow capped Snowden. A small harbour is right out side with another one a short walk away. The menu is short but has all of the usual favorites, it will be hard not to order seconds. The proprietors also allows take aways delivered if you wish, but with the food here why bother. The hotel is family run with additional staff and all are so happy to help. The wonderful staff member, Mandy stayed longer than here finishing time to serve behind the bar and take our order for the evening's dinner. A very lovely stay will been returning this year. Thanks all

Arrived in a group of 12 adults and 1 baby on our tour of north Wales and Anglesey to support our home football team in the inter island football tournament . Great food and atmosphere. Rooms were immaculate and service was 1st class. Locals very friendly, staff were excellent. Stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave.

Ps. If you want a excellent deal and price, call the hotel direct instead of booking online.

Struggling to find a last minute accommodation, the staff at Port Dinorwic pulled through! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were well-furnished and the view in the morning was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering a holiday in Wales. Thanks Port Dinorwic (especially Mandy 😂)

We love this place so the hotel is great for us. Ideally situated overlooking Anglesey with all types of boats moored up alongside. A large hotel with rooms outside in the grounds aswell as those looking down the straight. Perfect location for Betts w coed, caernarfon and Llandudno not too far away. There is a swimming pool and sauna which is ideal for all ages and large lounge areas to relax. A good bar with TV and friendly staff on hand. Breakfast is good and plentiful but don't be in any hurry. One thing I would say is some comfortable chairs in the breakfast room wouldn't go a miss, low back whicker chairs aren't good for your back. I believe the Dinorwic is slowly being modernised especially the double glazing and it's gonna look even better. Love the place.

Fantastic customer service. Superb Location. Special mention for Hayden and Natasha for their kind hospitality. 16 of us stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was like home away from home. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the visit. 👍

Love it. Stayed in a 3 person room which I have stayed in previously. Slightly basic but clean and tidy. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about the area.
