Cannock Chase Cycle Centre

We recently hired e-mountain bikes from here to see if we should make the change from green lane dirt biking. We had a great service and even better day on the mtb's. Now we're hooked and love the place and rode "Follow the Dog" trail which was fantastic fun. The centre has some good accessories for the sport as well as friendly, helpful advice 👍

Brilliant service from Swinnertons on my last visit to Cannock Chase...had an issue with the forks on my Trek and Swinnertons dealt with it quickly and efficiently. They also only charged me a very modest price for the work. Great to receive such good service...Many Thanks!

Hire a bike if you fancy trying mountain biking - The Blue route is ideal for new comers.

I ride Cannock Chase regularly and the bike shop is awesome, staff are really friendly, professional and always provide a great service, recently had them invisiframe my new bike and they’ve done a fantastic job, I highly recommend them.

Great fun. Loads of different routes for different skill levels etc.

The bike shop is great. Bit pricey but the staff are excellent and it's a doddle to hire a bike.

The red route is brilliant, you'll need some basic bike skills as it's fairly technical and a bit of a lung buster to get all the way round.

Took my daughter’s bike here that we had recently bought from somewhere else: the brakes weren’t working properly. We were greeted with Sean who was really friendly and helpful. They took the bike in and sorted out the issue the next day. They also found quite a few other faults and sorted them aswell. The best thing was, they did this for such a fantastic price (considering what they did). I now feel really happy with the bike and that it’s completely safe to ride. I would definitely come back here for any issues and I would save the hassle and purchase a bike from here. Thank you again 😊

Thanks to the cycle center, they've been there from my first MTB rental back in December, to saving my bacon on multiple occasions (bike setup and maintenance issues/queries, punctures), as well as entertaining great MTB discussions, thanks Dan 😉👌🏻

I highly recommend a visit to the shop, don't forget your mask and wallet! You don't regret it.. I never do 😁

Excellent service from the team and good quality hire bikes. Took the extra time to go through the bike controls, make suspension adjustments and give us some trail recommendations.

As a mountain biker of some years, who has used many, many shops over that time, I can say without doubt that Cannock Chase Cycle Centre is a top mountain biking shop run by a top team of chaps, who are themselves mountain bikers.

They’re a brilliantly helpful, experienced, and very knowledgable team and will do their utmost to help you without selling you something you don’t need.

They have a comprehensive range of bikes and bike gear for sale to meet most MTB’ers needs, at competitive prices.

They offer an excellent service and repair facility and their team has always been able to identify faults and help get us back on the trails as soon as possible.

They always have a extensive range of top brand rental bikes in all sizes, available at modest prices and we’ve tested this facility a few times over the years, as well.

Myself and my MTBg mates have used the shop frequently and never ever been let down or disappointed. Credit to Drew, Josh and Simon today for yet again, sorting my bike at short notice.

These guys are very good indeed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

As to the person who put the negative review because they wouldn’t rent a bike out to him because he’d forgotten his wallet and ID, how unfair of you to put the review when you were at fault. What did you expect, in this day and age?? Don’t lay blame on others you feel are unreasonable when you messed up.

Make no mistake this is a great MTB shop, which is a rare commodity and just in case anyone challenges my impartiality or thinks I might be associated with the shop, or the lads that work there, given my comments above, then I would stress that I am not.

. I've had a number of bikes from Cannock Chase Cycle Centre over the years and the service has always been excellent. Great advice and great after sales service. Staff very knowledgeable and always willing to help those of us not so technically inclined when it comes to the more complicated parts of bikes. Highly recommended

Great shop and always willing to go that extra mile, especially for those that have arrived at the trail centre with ill prepared kit and eqpt (seen this many times over the years). Always a good stock of eqpt that caters for all budgets.

Just bought a bike from the shop. I received great advice on which model to choose. The bike arrived quickly and they made sure it was set up correctly for my height, weight and riding style.

I fully recommend the shop for their top notch customer service and good prices. I will happily use again.

Absolutely amazing service! Popped my bike in as I needed work done on my brakes, was possibly the busiest days I have ever seen around there and they managed to get it done by 11am! I only dropped it in at 10! Very great staff who know exactly what they are doing, always ready to help and won’t rob you of your money, a bike shop doing it for the riders, not money inclined like other shops. Thanks lads, can always rely on you! :)

Can’t rate them enough.

I was cycling through Cannock Chase and my rack came off the back of my bike. I was really lucky to be just around the corner from this shop! The guy was so helpful and had it fixed within 5 minutes completely free of charge. Will definitely be heading back to give them some business and I recommend everyone else does the same. Was a pleasure to swing by!

Went in to get my brakes sorted and was greeted by super friendly staff. After assessing my bike they also noticed a few other issues that could be resolved. After chatting with the guys I also asked for a few other jobs to be added and it was not a problem at all, they were more than happy to help. I spoke to Shaun/ Sean who was super professional and knowledgeable which was great as I’m fairly new to biking and he was more than happy to answer any questions not matter how basic they were.
Went out on the bike today and it is running amazing, will 100% using these guys again as I was blown away by the service provided. For the amount of jobs needed to doing I thought the price was really reasonable. They even swapped my tyres over free of charge to maximise their life. Could not recommend these guys more and if your new to biking like me then even more reason to go and talk to the guys!

I try and get to cannock while I'm in the country and i have always had a good experience here. The guys in the bike shop have always been super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to dial in my hire bike yesterday which was great. The gears were a little out and I'm sure they would've sorted it had i asked but i just wanted to ride.
