Despite being from the area, we didn't even know this castle existed!
It's easy to find but parking is limited. The castle itself is great. There are lots of nooks for little ones to explore. It's set in a beautiful location with fabulous views over the estuary.
Payment is made in the farmhouse next to the castle. You can buy small tubs of GG's ice cream, and there are a few benches outside if you want to sit and relax. I'm not sure if we were allowed to use the rope swing in the farmhouse grounds, but our little one loved it.

Very cool castle and a must see in the area. When we arrived we were the only people there so it was great to take pictures without people in it. A lot of exploring you can do here. There were also adorable dogs here that loved some pets and cuddles! There is also a road you can hike down from here to the shore line.

We used our English Heritage card for free entry to the castle. The ruins are well preserved and one room intact which has an exhibition of Weobley castle and others. There is a tiny layby to park in just before the farmhouse that will sort your entry out.

A beautiful ruined castle. View from there is magnificent and gets me imagined an ancient lives who lived here. Payed admission fees at the farmhouse where some packed lambs are sold. £11.60 for family of four. Kids under 5 is free. Parking space is not large and seems about up to 5 cars.

You won't be visiting this castle because there is lots to do or even see, you will be visiting because of the beautiful views of the estuary and the history that's involved. I like the fact that it hasn't been rebuilt, granted you can walk round it in under 30 minutes but on a nice day you can enjoy the ample space to just sit and enjoy the natural beauty. It doesn't cost much to get in, there is a small shop selling Saltmarsh Lamb, not a huge car park but then I wouldn't expect this place to be flooded with visitors. We went in September, we were there around an hour, one other family arrived just as we were leaving

I wouldn’t call this ruins when compared to other castles in the area. Complete walls and structure give you a solid sense of what was. The view from the castle is worth the trip alone. It was easy to find and the office staff friendly. Restrooms and picnic tables if you bring snacks all next to the castle. There’s somewhat limited parking so I’d go during the week.

A little gem of a place to visit. We'll worth the £4 entry fee. Friendly staff offered to watch our bikes .

We visit Weobley Castle every year, a family favourite. Small but very picturesque, never very busy either.

Fascinating and well preserved fortified manor house, with a well presented exhibition which explains the site in depth, as well as others in the area. Some fine architectural features survive which are more usually robbed out of medieval buildings, such as stone window frames and traceries. The farm takes payment for CADW and also sells guidebooks, as well as the salt marsh lamb that they produce. There are stunning views from the castle of the Gower salt marshes and the mainland beyond. The farmer could not be more friendly and helpful.

Went to a friend's wedding here and it is a stunning spot for it!! Castle is also great and there are lush walks around if you are there on a normal day (not at an event). There is also camping available in the field right next to the castle and event area.

A small but interesting castle that has gorgeous views over the estuary. The local shop is also very friendly with some great ice cream! Keep an eye out for festivals held in the grounds.
