Fantastic surgery. The receptionists are always so polite and accommodating. I never have a problem being seen by a doctor on the same day.

Excellent doctors surgery.. all the doctors I’ve encountered are so caring.. Dr Paramore especially goes above & Beyond, very empathetic which you don’t often find & Dr Fancy was wonderful with my kids too. Very lucky to have access to such good medical care & always same day with thoughtful follow ups

After transferring to Lightwater Surgery from Magnolia House in sunningdale I am pleased to say it is WORLDS away in terms of their systems and patient first approach. The fact they have a policy of same day appts for those calling before 11am is amazing compared to my previous GPs archaic and time consuming system of submitting an online form and waiting 48hrs to be contacted with no way of calling to ask to be seen urgently. I took my son to Lightwater GP for his 8 week postnatal check and his first set of vaccines a couple of weeks ago and both appointments were great. Dr Paramore was lovely and the practice nurse who administered his vaccines was so helpful and saw us immediately after his GP appointment so we could go home rather than having to go home and come back again 2 hrs later for the scheduled appointment we had been given. All I can say is I'm annoyed I didn't move to Lightwater GP sooner!!

Dr. Li is the kindest, most patient and lovely GP I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She makes me feel like a human, rather than a number and I feel very well looked after under her care. She is an asset to the practice.

Really pleased with the service at Lightwater Surgery, generally get a same day appointment. Dr M Saeed has been absolutely brilliant and find that he's extremely thorough in helping resolve issues.

I have seen lots of negative reviews about this surgery. But I can honestly say reception, nurses, healthcare assistants and the doctors are all amazing. Never had a problem they are helpful, happy and very very nice. So basically ignore the 1 stars reviews and let these guys get on with the amazing jobs they all do! Thank you lightwater Surgery 👏

I moved to this surgery around a year ago from another local one that was horrendous!
Lightwater surgery have been so helpful, I have always managed to get appointments on the day.
I think Dr Li is just fantastic! The receptionists are lovely and so friendly!

I think this surgery is fantastic. I’ve always managed to get an appointment on the day, and all the staff are welcoming, thoughtful and attentive. In particular Dr Forsbrey who goes above and beyond with her time, patience and support. Feel incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful local surgery and amazing doctor!

Absolutely brilliant surgery. First rate professionalism and kindness for our mum who we recently registered here (after a terrible service somewhere else that she had put up with for years). I feel so lucky to be registered at this surgery. I hear of so many people registered at different surgeries being unable to get an appointment for days or even weeks. I've always managed to get an appointment on the same day, and yes I may be number 35 in the call queue, but as long as I've rung by 10am I've always got to see or speak with a doctor over the phone. I count myself very lucky and can not speak highly enough of the doctors and staff that work here.

Just registered with Lightwater Surgery last week. Filled in all the forms online (super easy and straight forward) and had a call from them yesterday to discuss my SEN childs needs as a new patient. Instantly booked an appointment for her with plenty of time slots. Called in at 8am today to book an on the day appt and was seen at 9.15 am by a very competent GP who was extremely friendly, understanding and helpful! Sofar 100% satisfied!

I’m not normally the type of person to put up a review, But I believe lightwater surgery truly deserves the recognition. I get really bad anxiety with hospitals from having a traumatic birth so I get very nervous when it comes to hospitals and doctors, however a couple of weeks ago my daughter was so so poorly, she could barely talk or move. She started to deteriorate after we put her to bed so I called 111 and they said over the phone there was nothing obviously wrong, I knew in my gut she wasn’t right so I took her to A&E and it was over a 7 hour wait (we got there at midnight) and they only gave us calpol (which we’d been doing anyway.) I felt severely judged by the hospital staff but I did make the tough decision to take her home to rest in her bed and take her to the doctors first thing. when I arrived I burst into tears from exhaustion and worry for my daughter, but the Dr was sooo sympathetic, calming and understanding It made me cry even more because she actually listened to me and provided her the required medication and even phoned later that day to check she was taking to the medication well. This surgery has helped me in more ways than you can imagine and they actually physically care for everybody mentally & physically! This also isn’t a dig at 111 or Nhs, I get how difficult and understaffed it can be! I just don’t do well in the hospital environment!

Absolutely brilliant surgery they run it so well, you can usually get an appointment the same day! The staff and the Doctors are all great as well. So many horror stories I hear from friends at other local surgeries I am so lucky to have chosen them when we moved to the area.

Never had a problem with this surgery and have always been fitted in on the day. GPs always listen and receptionists are polite and smile. Can thoroughly recommend and we are lucky to have this practice in the village.

Having moved down to the local area from East London (originally grew up in Lightwater), I can only say good things about Lightwater surgery. It's actually incredible you can get same day appointments (E. Lon waiting times are up to 3 weeks), and the doctors have always been helpful. As for attitude, while I can understand it may be frustrating to receive abrupt service, it may be a valuable exercise for many to remember the stresses and strains placed upon the NHS, and GP's in general over the last couple of years. A decade worth of funding cuts, plus the population of the local area going up, compounded by COVID, is it any wonder some smiles may wain, and some attitudes may be less than friendly? At the end of the day, this is a free, fabulous service and I really appreciate it.

Excellent surgery. Have nothing but positive comments to say about it. Very friendly , polite and professional medical and reception staff . I have had no problem ever booking an appointment for a time I want or getting a repeat prescription . A friend of mine rang up this morning at 9 and got an appointment at 10.20. The patient access app linked to the surgery is extremely useful . I don't recognise some of the negative reviews given on google. For a more accurate informed view I would suggest patients join the Lightwater Community Face Book group where they will see many positive comments about this surgery . we are lucky to have it.

I've always been impressed with our local surgery and my latest appointment and follow up with Dr Forsbrey exceeded all expectations. Appointments are easy to book, everything runs on time and all the doctors and other staff are always helpful, friendly and professional.

A very busy but efficiently run practice. Multiple doctors/rooms plus phlebotomy, nurse, etc. Ring and wait a.m. for appointment, but try again after 2pm. Online booking possible too, but log in early!

Very quick to get an appointment. I telephoned at 09.50 expecting to go in a few days later and the helpful receptionist said 'come in at 11.00 today'.
The Doctors, Nurses and Staff are helpful and (added bonus) seem to smile a lot. I'm really glad I moved here.
