Bagshot Carpets

I was trying to match a landing carpet that had been damaged by a pet’s staining. John was brilliant, even allowing me to take back carpet samples to match with the original carpet. The replacement price was high, but well worth it for the match. The original carpet fitters were unable to complete the job due to one of them having strained his back ( did he do the HSE training?). However, the replacement fitters James and Charlie were fantastic - they contacted us 30 minutes before arrival and were on site on time. Also helped me to bring in my shopping as they were on our drive when I returned home!
Such fantastic fitters, can’t recommend them highly enough.

On my experience showroom and measuring for the carpet were 5*.

First fitters Dave and ? were extremely poor at communication. Didn’t arrive on time and were very aggressive when they did arrive ( probably as I had complained about time keeping to John). Although I had flagged up my time frame for the day well before the appointment was booked.
I put this down, kindly, to the fact that the fitter was in pain from a back problem.

So, in conclusion, Bagshot Carpets, showroom staff very helpful.

1st fitters, absolutely horrible- very alpha male and trying to bully a female customer. Wouldn’t give me a business card, that was a red flag! When I said I would query fitting costs stormed off.

Second fitters, James and Charlie absolutely amazing, first rate, five star!!

So, buy your carpets from Bagshot Carpets, but be VERY,VERY, careful about who they set up as your carpet fitters! Even if Bagshot Carpets tell you these fitters have done a good job for years! ( Go for James and Charlie!)

Excellent service from a local flooring store. Friendly team who are very knowledgeable about their products, and tailored their advice for our situation. An on site measurement was performed within a few days, and they came back with a quote within 2 days. Better value than other local flooring companies, and a million times better than the highstreet brands!

I was looking for partly restoring existing flooring as well as laying Amtico for the rest of the house including the stairs. They are patience to examine my existing floors, running through different implementation options with me, and analyse the benefits and risks of each of those options. They are quick to come up with a work start date, appear on time, and finish the work within the agreed period. The finishing is perfect. The house is kept clean and tidy. If you are looking for a hassle free service I highly recommend Bagshot Carpets.

Discovered Bagshot Carpets online as they supply and fit Harvey Maria flooring. From the off, the staff were friendly and helpful: ordering samples, allowing us to take larger sample boards home to get a better idea of how they would look, measuring up, etc. Now the tiles are down and our hallway looks amazing. Fitters Chris and Nathan did the most incredible job. They had great attention to detail and took huge care with every aspect of the fitting. They were brilliant, hard working and such a pleasant father and son team. The whole experience with Bagshot Carpets has been excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use this local business again.

The team at bagshot carpets did a wonderful job fitting a carpet in our living room which was previously hardwood floor. I had never had to install carpet in my home before and they were helpful and informative all throughout the process to ensure we chose the best carpet for our needs. It was fitted in just a couple of weeks after ordering by two lovely gentlemen. Would recommend bagshot carpets to everyone in the local area.

This review is from the two ladies that came into the shop this afternoon who you were so rude to. If you had taken the time to ask us about what building work we were doing at our house you would have found out that we need lots of carpet and flooring laid throughout. I’m guessing from your attitude that you don’t need anymore business!!!! - whatever happened to everyone passing the threshold of the door being a potential customer or someone passing on a recommendation!!!

I honestly don’t know how you get any work when you make potential customers feel so uncomfortable. Your loss!!!

I can honestly say I have never been spoken to so rudely ever! Would never recommend this shop to anyone. Find an alternative stockist of Karndean and Amtico.
