Outdoor customised “carved” concrete “boulders” scattered aside the large lake in a landscaped woodland setting.
Apparently levels of difficulty here offering a challenge range of climbing features across the ability spectrum from novice, unskilled grappler to the vertiginous specialist.
If your reach is beyond a social climb this might be just be your dangle.

A perfect variety of climbing difficulty and generally a gorgeous place to climb. Went for my bday with mates- we're all of different abilities but we all had a fab day

My absolute favourite park in the whole area. It has so many different things to do, and is beautiful. Plus I've never seen so many things to climb in one park. Great for kids, dogs, and adults. It's also very flat and has paths that go past everything so it's good for buggies and wheelchair users. Also has a car park.

Great park with with a collection of boulders for kids and adults to climb. There are climbing frames, exercise spots and a huge lake in the middle of the park where you can take out a boat. If you don’t like the water then you can ride your bike around.

Lovely walk around the lake and lots of activities for young kids. Plenty of parking where permits can be purchased online. Nice open spaces

Went here yesterday for the first time and has been my first climb in a few years,I must say I am incredibly impressed by this place, the boulders are a fair recreation of actual boulders.

Each boulder seems to simulate a different type of rock face as well as different difficulty levels. So it's good for both adults and children.

Areas are very clean and there's low danger risk because surrounding the boulders are small pebbles which are also deep. I feel a solid 10 feet and wasn't injured so in my opinion it's good. AWESOME AREA EOULD GO AGAIN!

You aren't exactly spoiled for choice with outdoor climbing if you live in London, but Fairlop Waters Boulder Park is surprisingly good.

The boulders are very well made: if you didn't know that they were man-made, you'd be hard pressed to tell as the texture of the concrete and the size and shape of the holds and features is very similar to real rock.

There's a good variety of features too, from small crimps to grit-like slopers and big, friendly jugs. Also, there's a good spread of grades, so the boulders are suitable for everyone, from beginner climbers to seasoned boulderers.

The gravel ground is fairly soft, but I would still bring a bouldering pad if you have one. Also, watch out for the bird poop on the top of some of the boulders.

Great place to try some outdoor bouldering, rock some s quite aggressive so if this is your first time getting into it or have soft hands you are in for a rough time.

Good for a nice flat walk on a path around the lake. It's got climbing things for the kids to do and big climbing rocks for climbers to do. It has a restaurant and cafe bar. It also has an inflatable fun area on the lake where you can hire wet suits and pay to play on the inflatables or just stand and watch.

Excellent artificial boulders. Plenty for everyone of all abilities to try. Several overhangs and the gravel is deep enough for a good landing. The walkoffs are easy. Some maintenance is needed as there is a fair bit of moss after the winter and this makes some of the problems a bit sketchy.

Great walk or cycle round park.
A lovely gravel and sand path round the big lake, with grass to each side.
A number of kids activity areas, for climbing and adventure. Great dog walk, with loads of pay and diplay parking.

Excellent place. You can have a nice walk around the lake and can practice your rock climbing skills. There are many rocks to climb and further down it also has rope walk. Really nice place.
