B&Q Eltham

I recently visited the B&Q in Eltham and was thoroughly impressed! The store is well-organized, making it easy to find everything I needed for my home improvement project. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, offering great advice and assistance. To top it off, there's a fantastic food truck outside serving the best food and hot drinks around. Perfect for a quick and delicious break. Highly recommend!

Everyone was helpful but Cathe at the checkout really stood out. She was alone but was managing everything expertly and efficiently, she really made an effort to ensure all my questions were answered quickly. I found everything I needed very easily. Everything was on stock

I have just bought 3 bags of garden compost and asked if anyone could help me get it to my car, due to a back issue. No problem at all, a very helpful young man (Cavin) helped me and my wife. He was a credit to B&Q.

My thanks goes to the very helpful staff at B & Q branches at Foots Cray, Sidcup, Kent and Eltham London S.E.9. I obtained the purchase I was looking for, a set of 'Grab handles' to install at home for my wife's needs. Although they were out of stock at Foots Cray Sidcup branch, two very kind young gentlemen staff found out they had some at their Eltham branch. Well done to those gentlemen staff at B&Q Footscray, Sidcup!👍 My kind thanks to the helpful staff too at Eltham branch 👍 in showing me the shelves they were stored on, a satisfactory result and purchase followed. Good parking, for disabled too, good access at both branches, relaxed and moderately quite during the weekday morning visit on the shop floors ( around 10am to 11am). Well stocked with all others items and products I noticed at both branches during my visit. Keep up the 👍 good retail trade standards B&Q, 'Brownie points to the helpful staff 👍 too - that is if you ever read this review B&Q management? Have shopped here for years, and previously would agree with many other reviews about slow and rude staff. When shopping here recently, it seems they have hired a couple of young ladies who are very helpful and polite. I was pushing my trolley with paint in, and a lid came off spilling paint all over the floor. The girl who helped was very professional and friendly. The other girl tends to the checkouts, she always has a very upbeat attitude and is eager to help.

Attended the store this morning to buy some mouldings. The app said there were 20 in stock and when I got there there were none on the shelf and I spoke to a member of staff, Cavan, who told me there were only four in stock. He was able to search another store for me and find plenty of stock at Dartford. The young man gave FIRST CLASS Customer Service! Cavan is a credit to this company and a thoroughly pleasant individual. Although I didn’t get what I needed, I left completely satisfied. These five stars are particularly for Cavan. Could the powers that be acknowledge his perspicuity and pass on once again my thanks to him.

Had an appointment today with showroom to have my bathroom designed…. Eleanor & Sarah were AMAZING from start to finish, they were patient understanding, listened to all my requests and my budget…. Nothing was too much…. Even my ridiculous questions.
I can honestly say genuinely really nice ladies and yes the bathroom was fabulous when finished !!! And I will be purchasing it, but what really sold it was Eleanor and Sarah …. Great job ladies 😊

Visited the store today, looking for rubble bags. Asked a young lady called Shannon who stopped what she was doing and helped me look. Couldn't locate them but Shannon didn't give up. She hunted them down until she found them. Very good ambassador.

Absolutely brilliant I required 1 more length of wallpaper to complete my living room, as I made a mistake by buying the incorrect batch number. With the rolls of paper sit sample rolls for customers to take samples, the kind staff let me take a length to finish the job.

Very helpful staff, very kind and happy to help and even advise a customer to use their loyalty card so she could save +£4 on some gardening products 👍

The customer service I received in B&Q Eltham was second to none. I bought 39 bags of topsoil, (didn't want to do jumbo bags as client doesn't want to barrel through house), and a staff member saw me struggling to push the trolley and gave me a hand to push the trolley to the till and then too the car.

Once I started to load the topsoil another member of staff came and have me a hand to pack the car.

Every staff member I spoke to were very helpful.

I went yesterday with my Girlfriend, looking for plants, outdoor pots, etc for her flat's balcony area "mini garden".

Steve C of the customer service team did such an incredible job of helping us: he answered all of our questions and showed us lots of products and plants that were appropriate for our project. He gave us his valuable insights and shared his extensive knowledge of horticulture and DIY projects. He really made us feel special and made our day that much brighter!

All of the staff were helpful, polite and professional. I've been to this branch multiple times over the years but yesterday's experience compelled me to write this review.

We will definitely be going back... especially on Saturdays when Steve C is working!

One of the better b&qs in the area.
Pretty good store, clean and tidy, staff seem really friendly and helpful, always parking available.

Only gripe is that the garden part seems a bit small but not a problem really.

Plenty of Car Parking spaces.

Although it looks a bit small compared to the big BnQ i have been to. However, i found what i needed.

Staff: one of the most professional and friendly staff I have seen so far. Although the staff looked young but they were very mature and professional.

Great service yesterday from a guy called Darren. I was unsure of door I needed as being for someone else and after he helped me go through the possibilities I made my purchase. He and another colleague then helped carry it and put it in the car for me. They made what I thought was going to be a mission an easy experience so thank you

Decent range of quality products at reasonable prices. Delivery service is outstanding and the guys that delivered to my Aunt went above and beyond to make sure that she understood what was being delivered and that it was put somewhere that was not an inconvenience until such time as the builder was booked to arrive. Great job lads.

Much to my surprise, i’ve just recieved exceptional service in this B&Q! It was the best experience I’ve ever had in any B&Q. I was not expecting a personalised experience when I asked a staff member named Steve where the potting soil was located, but that’s exactly what I received. Steve was an expert and spoke about the plants with such passion and knowledge. He gave me genuine advice and went the extra mile to get the right soil fir me, even inviting me me back again at the end. He is sn asset to your store. Thsnk you! The staff member at the self-service checkout with the short, light hair was also very warm and professional. Thanks for a great visit! I’ll be back soon.

Went to get 4 garden chairs. The lady helped me put them in my trolley. Then took me to pay at an empty one. Then helped me get them in the car! Very grateful. Excellent service!!!
