Greenwoods Hotel & Spa

A wonderful stay in a wonderful location. The grounds were beautiful and well worth the walk around, the rooms were amazing, room service in the morning was amazing and the dinner service was delicious. The spa was also amazing, the back massage I received was a reasonable price and felt amazing! The pool is also wonderful, it was very warm and cozy. Next time I will definitely check out the sauna, relaxation room, and the hot stones room.

My husband and I stayed at Greenwood's hotel to celebrate our anniversary and booked an overnight spa package. We phoned to book and were given a better price than stated on the website as we were going during the week so I would recommend calling them when booking. We paid £379 in total for our package and got a 30 min treatment each, full use of spa facilities, 3 course dinner, overnight stay and breakfast.
(We paid £40 extra for a room upgrade)
We could arrive from 2pm and were greeted warmly, we checked into our room which was very spacious and clean. The pool area was quiet as it was a Tuesday so it felt like we had the place to ourselves at times. We enjoyed an afternoon of going in the sauna, jacuzzi, pool and relaxation rooms. We had a back massage included in our package. I didn't think mine was great to be honest but my husband enjoyed his. The evening meal was incredible - we both had pork belly to start and lamb for main and the food was of a very high standard and our waitress (I believe her name was Lauren) was lovely.
The bottle of red wine was also very good.
After dinner we had a few drinks at the bar which had a lovely atmosphere.
This is one of the more reasonable spas I have been to but the price was not reflected negatively at all in the experience. I would definitely recommend and return.

Went for a spa day with the Mrs, really nice place with everything you need in the spa area. The public in there are pleasant and chatty, which is nice. Staff are great and give you everything you need.
Had some lunch in the restaurant included in the spa day. Very decent standard of food for something 5 min drive away (for me) - superb.

We was warmly welcomed by Danielle who made our stay great from that first encounter. Our room was lovely and had a pretty view. The spa is nice and my treatment by Charlotte was relaxing! We will be back! Thank you!

Myself and my husband booked an overnight stay here as a gift to one another for Christmas, and it did not disappoint!
We are always looking for a new spa hotel to try and when we found this one located just around the corner from where we live we were very happy as it is still close to home encase we are called back for the kids!
Upon pulling into the car park the Manor house is beautiful along with the grounds I imagine sitting outside in the summer months would be lovely. We were greeted by a very friendly lady on reception where she explained everything to us we needed to know and then guided us to our room!
The room itself was very modern and well decorated I was pleasantly surprised, the bed was bigger than I had thought it would be which was also a nice surprise as we are used to sleeping in a super king at home - it was also very comfy! Robes and towels are provided for you for the pool & spa however you need to collect these from the spa first (they are not in your room) You also need your key card to access the pool area so when coming down from your room don't forget it. There is a huge changing room with lockers, showers, hairdryers so if you prefer to get ready down there that is also an option.

We went down to the pool & spa area around 3pm (Friday) and it was busy to the extent we were unable to get a bed to lay on around the pool area, and we couldn't get a spot in the sauna or the jacuzzi - We spoke with someone there and they said it was because everyone there was a member and used It during the day etc. As we were staying overnight, we decided to go and get changed, get a drink, and have a wander around the hotel. We went back around 5.30ish and it was so much better (empty even) we didn't mind as the pool area & spa was open until 10pm. We also used it again after breakfast the following day and had it all to ourselves ♡

Dinner and Breakfast was included in with our package and apart from the wait time on dinner service we had no faults the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and spa however if we were to return it would probably be midweek to avoid the crowds.

In my opinion one of the best spas in the uk
I visited a famous brand of spa and it was nowhere near as nice as Greenwoods. The pool is kept nice n clean. Plus decor throughout is lovely

Friendly reception, nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms were good, everything we needed.
We ate in the restaurant. It was eerily quiet but the food was very good.
We used the pool and spa. The pool was a good temperature and the jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms were all working. My only criticism was that people left towels on the beds and were nowhere to be seen. This meant that my group were unable to enjoy sitting together. Treatments were brisk rather than luxurious but the relaxation rooms were excellent.
I would definitely return.

I've been to this hotel for a conference whit my company in July and I've decided to come back for a spa and stay whit my fiance.
She was so happy about this hotel.
Very close from London, located in a nice village call Stock.
Food was great and also the service was outstanding.
Would go back again definitely.

What a beautiful find! I stumbled across this hotel because I was taking photos at a wedding in the area and wanted a nice break as I so far away from home. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was beautiful and I couldn't fault a single thing. I will be back 100%

Could not fault Greenwoods! This was our first time visiting for an overnight Spa break and we had such a lovely time. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all delicious, of good quality produce and plenty of selection. The Spa area is of a high standard and very clean. The massages we had were very relaxing. All staff we came across were incredibly polite, knowledgeable and accomodating. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, slept like a baby! Small details also make Greenwoods that extra bit special such as Elemis products in the bathrooms, any condiments were brought out in giant pots (unlike other establishments that bring out a tiny pot with enough for 2 chips), and nice touches like a Roast dinner on Sunday unlike the usual sandwich you have to choose from in spa packages. Loved the whole break and we will definitely be returning!

Second visit and hopefully many more. Great location, lovely staff and the treatments are fantastic. The deep tissue massage was so awesome, brought my shoulders back down from ears, very distressing. Thoroughly recommend. Haven't tried afternoon tea yet, that's on my list.

Took my mum for a birthday afternoon tea. It was amazing. The food is delicious and location is beautiful!! Their was so much food we ended up taking some home..staff are lovley too!

We had our wedding reception here in May 2022 and it was the most magical day. Shannon, Christie and their team were fantastic from the very first meeting to after the day.
The team was patient, passionate and remained calm throughout.
The venue is absolutely stunning, a beautiful mix of modern style in the garden suite and vintage in the main bar. We loved the outdoors space, the gardens are gorgeous and a great place for photos!
When we arrived at the reception we were stunned on how beautiful it looked with the support of our suppliers. The food was outstanding and we have had so many positive comments from our guests since.
Thank you Greenwoods for everything. We will be back soon!
