Laithwaite's Wine Surbiton

Really nice attentive staff and very supportive. I had quite a tight budget and they were able to facilitate my needs. They helped me choose a selection and also helped me to make use of the glass hire. When I returned a couple of bottles. They were very friendly and did not make it awkward in any way with a very warm, genuine smile. Definitely come back here again. Highly recommended.

I ordered some Champagne online for Xmas gifts and arranged for it to be delivered to the Surbiton store for convenience. I called to find out when they may expect the delivery and as it turned out it wasn't going to arrive in time. Luckily they had what I required in stock and a helpful chap named Tim altered the transaction so I could collect it straight away. If only things were always that easy. Thank you.

I've had boxes of wine delivered several times from here, and they're always very tasty wines, too. This place is a local asset for Surbiton and Long Ditton folk.

First impressions: met by Chris the manager and asked for Albariño wine. They had two in stock so took one of each and a bottle of white Malbec. This, the Surbiton branch was laid out in a relaxed welcoming style. The manager Chris was also welcoming and engaging without being nosey. I will definitely be going back there rather than just taking pot luck at a supermarket.

Great store. Was served by Tim today who gave me some great suggestions. A couple of parking spaces too, so makes it easy to make a purchase or two

Really disappointing. Went in on Thursday to arrange a delivery as a gift to a friend for Friday or Saturday. Was told it would be delivered on Friday.
No delivery. As I was about to ring on Monday morning, I received a text from Yodel to say delivery would be today. I still rang to find out why it was only to be delivered on Monday and to let them know that their failure had caused me embarrassment and was told that I should have known that delivery takes 2/3 days! Not when you tell me otherwise!

One person working there was absolutely lovely with cyclists gathering on their car park this summer, it says a lot about customer service !

Came here for our wedding wine after trying a few other places. This was head and shoulders above the rest. Tim made the whole process an absolute joy. Good name too 😀

Good selection, decent car park and staff who aren’t to overbearing if you just want to be left alone to browse. Don’t neglect the sample table when you’re there ;)

He's a rock star wine merchant and all- round legend. In fact, without Tim, wine would be just another drink. He elevates it toward something celestial. An experience I'll wager even Jimi Hendrix was unable to attain.
