Malltraeth Chippy

Don't know nothing about fish & chips from this place as I didn't try it.
But, I'm really satisfied that the owner let me in to buy some soft drinks 🍺🥤when he was closing down and I was very thirsty doing my milage of Wales Coast Path 🗺😪
Massive choice of everything as for such a tiny place. Maybe pricey but c'mon - it's at the end of the world 😉

they have ABERFFRAW BISCUITS 🍪(local speciality) ...and PEANUTS 🥜🥜 for red 🐿 ! 😍😍

Fantastic chip shop .not just a chip shop but also a shop for everything you need .found them very helpful and very nice people.parking right outside the shop.
Fish are cooked fresh and chips were cooked just right for me .
I would recommend this chip shop for there food and get the odd bits you forgot to get from there as well.

One of our party had been advised by a local that this chippy was 'not the best, but ok'. However, as it was the only place open locally after an evening walk we decided to risk it. So glad we did, the fish & chips were delicious and cooked perfectly. In fact the best fish & chips I have had for a long time. Very surprised to see the other bad reviews on here. However, there were ten of us and it was all freshly cooked, so maybe that was the difference. Price was about £10+ per person which seems fair to me.

Called for fish and chips whilst passing through. Not the biggest portions but just enough for us.
Chips were crispy, not dry or greasy, haddock was tasty and batter just right. All cooked freshly to order.

Superb fish and chips cooked fresh while you wait. Note that they close at 7.00 pm outside the high season.

We had seen the fish & chip sign whilst driving past so nipped in one afternoon to give them a try.
The owner is a real character & we were soon chatting about how he ended up in a spot like this after moving from Lancashire.
The fish & chips were cooked to order & I also bought a bottle of Three Mills red wine from Norfolk, which isn't my usual but we loved it.
The shop is basically a newsagent/off-licence/basic supplies/chippy with a small selection of basic items.
Fish & chips were fab as well.

Great little Chippy which also contains the local shop. Food is great and all cooked fresh to order. There's some picnic tables 2 minutes walk away where you can sit and eat with nice views of the estuary and beach.
