Cozy modern restaurant. The small plate concept works, particularly liked the sweet potatoes. Decent selection of craft beer and wine. Great vegan selection also.

We had the pleasure of savoring an unforgettable meal at this restaurant. The QH breakfast was a hearty and flavorful delight, with Cumberland sausages, fried egg, smokehouse bacon, black pudding, cherry tomatoes, and homemade beans coming together in a symphony of flavors. Every bite was a journey of taste and satisfaction. My husband's Seafood Benedict was equally exceptional, combining the richness of king scallop and smoked salmon with the elegance of poached egg and hollandaise atop toasted crumpets. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly stood out. This dining experience was a true culinary adventure, leaving us already planning our return to explore more of the menu's delectable offerings.

This place deserves to be packed. We came here for an impromptu meal out and were really impressed. The food was excellent - in particular the skate wing which was on for the plaice, and the dressed crab. The service was great and the place itself is lovely. I loved the artwork on the walls. We will be back... with friends!

The vegetarian tapas menu is delicious. They have do the most glorious desserts and scrumptious cocktails. The plus side is the allow dogs. :-)

A friendly relaxed atmosphere makes for pleasant eating at this informal restaurant. I had the delicious pulled shoulder of Cumbrian lamb with feta and homemade romesco sauce on Artisan sourdough for brunch. Plenty of drink options including a hand crafted latte.

My favourite restaurant to bring out of town guests or to celebrate. A little pricey for just a casual night out, but the food is amazing and absolutely worth it for a special occasion. The menu rotates frequently, so there's always something fun and new to try.

We went for brunch with a voucher we had been given as a wedding present. Really impressed with the food and service. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommended.

Four of us for a get together, went for the small plates and shared some dishes. All superb, one that stands out is the beef, pretty and black garlic risotto. Stunning dish. They also have an eclectic selection of beers to try which are very well thought through. Can't wait to go again!

Some of the best and tastiest food I have eaten for a long time. A bit of a throwback in time, quiet and relaxing,excellent service,with smiling, friendly,well groomed staff. We had some nibbles and the small plate early bird. The food was locally sourced and outstanding. We will definitely return.

Fantastic food in a relaxed environment. The staff were lovely, friendly and made some great proactive recommendations. Will definitely be returning! The vegan options were amazing and the cocktails were awesome too.

What a find. Stopped in Lancaster for a bite on our way north and came across this place. A small but eclectic brunch menu that was different to the usual. Excellent service with attention to detail and great value for money

Stunning food. A bit tapas-like with several small plates and could not fault one single plate, even down to the sweet potato fries which i didn't think could be that nice. Staff were super friendly, a good laugh and never once felt pressured or rushed, they were brilliant. Lovely interior and a romantic feel to it

Visited Lancaster for the weekend and had done some research and found The Quarterhouse who serve some excellent sounding vegan dishes as well as labelling their vegan wines, so booked for dinner. The place itself is lovely, nice lighting and a great atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ordered the vegan sharing board with homemade mushroom pate & vegan cheese and was a wonderful way to kick off the evening, it was fantastic. Mains were spicy squash with chickpeas, Maris Piper potatoes with samphire & herb 'butter', greens with lemon dressing and roast cauliflower with provencale sauce. All the dishes were delicious, packed with flavour and we wolfed them all down. Desserts were coconut rice pudding with stewed plums and whiskey chocolate mousse, these were scrumptious and a far cry from the boring desserts of usually sorbet at most places. We loved The Quarterhouse and we will definitely revisit and will look out for their special event evenings.

Never disappointed with a visit here, attended their seafood tasting menu and it was fantastic. Brilliant restaurant, would highly recommend.

From the olives to the wine, it’s sure one fine dine. Came for a second visit this week (to the deli) with some girlfriends, pleasant young lass greeted us and informed us of happy hour details. I had a much needed glass of rosé, then three more (after all,it was happy hour) meal deal is brilliant! The bonny lass couldn’t have been more accommodating, she answered all queries, provided a taster of rum and informed us on raclettes. I shall return with nary a doubt.

Booked here for Mother’s Day brunch. Incredibly welcoming staff with a relaxed atmosphere. Great service and the menu is fabulous. They are happy to make slight alterations to their dishes. I had the seafood Benedict which was a first for me. We will be back.

Loved the selection of delightful and delicious "small plates" here on a Saturday evening. Went for all vegan, all were amazing! Super sunny window seat table.

Visited on Sunday after reading reviews and we weren't disappointed.

Excellent fresh local produce combined to make superb dishes with the bonus of being dog friendly would highly recommend as a superb alternative to the usual highstreet chains.

Lovely place with fantastic food. The staffs are very friendly and handsome.
