Heatherside Pharmacy - Alphega Pharmacy

I have just had excellent service from the team at Heatherside Pharmacy during a busy morning spell. Two members of staff worked very efficiently serving customers whilst the rest of team worked busily behind them putting together prescriptions. I walked in with my prescription this morning and had a very short wait whilst they dispensed it there and then.

Brilliant. I cannot fault this pharmacy. Earl the pharmacist and his staff are always wonderful to meet and do business with. Support your independent local shop right here.
Update: I visited recently and Earl is still as helpful and kind as he was 2 years ago. I had forgotten to bring a mask so he gave me two disposable ones!

Always helpful staff and Errol the pharmacist is a gem who really goes out of his way to assist people, however the general public are less than kind or polite to the staff

Always find the staff here very helpful. Some days they really are under pressure and very busy but they always try their best. No complaints at all. Thank you for your hard work

The most unreliable pharmacy ever..... I went to this pharmacy yesterday (01.07.24) to collect my prescription and was told they didn't have the quantity I needed and would order it for collection this evening. I arrived at the pharmacy and joined the inevitable queue only to be informed 30 minutes later that they only had a few tablets (out of 56!) of one of the items. I told the assistant that I had been told yesterday that it would be ordered so I can get the complete prescription. She went, "Oh....I'm sorry about that". I collected my prescription and left. This is a recurring pattern with this pharmacy, unfortunately it's the only one in Heatherside - no competition.. I will not be using their services again.

Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, service is terribly slow and any question or issue seems to take the whole team to resolve.
The pharmacist is patronising and condescending.

I changed from Boots to help support local businesses. What a mistake lovely staff but they don't pick up the phone. They are very understaffed they said. They don't have time to make the prescription until you go into pick it up, they had mine for over a week, then no stock. Im sadly changing back to Boots. I hope it improves so I can change back.

No Clear return policy and awful behaviour.

I purchased ibuprofen and paracetamol, but upon exiting the store, I remembered my wife had already bought them earlier today. So, I returned to request a refund and was abruptly reprimanded, being told quite rudely that I might have contaminated the tablets. In reality, I had just bought them; they were still sealed in their packaging, and I hadn't even opened the boxes, much less used any of the tablets. it appears they can invent any new policies as they deem fit. One might comprehend the fabricated policy and refrain from further argument, but being treated in an extremely rude manner is unacceptable. Please avoid this joke of a place and go elsewhere even for your prescriptions.

Worst pharmacy in the UK how they are still functioning is beyond me.

Service terrible and the gentleman pharmacist doesn't want to hear what you have to say and would rather you book a doctors appointment for any queries!

Waste of time!

Terrible. Extremely slow and rude if after waiting 15 minutes you dare to ask how much longer it might be. No organisation what so ever. Took two of them to find a prescription that had dropped into another box.

The incompetence and rudeness of all staff here is awful... Do you seek medication or advice you will risk your health! The pharmacist himself must go back in to full education immediately
