WOULD RECOMMEND - WILL BE RETURNING

My family and I took ourselves to The Locomotive for dinner and drinks. Service and atmosphere is good. Friendly stag with a great sense of humour. When the food arrived, all was well, but my fish was slightly undercooked. Informed the staff, and the landlord/chef reimbursed me for my meal. I declined at first, yet this shows the moral compus this establishment have, admitting they made a minor error but resolved with a solution. They clearly apperciated their customers whether you're local or not local. For this act of kindness and generosity, my family and I WILL BE RETURNING. Thank you, Richard and the Locomotive team. Keep up the great work.

Qmazing small pub with live entertainment and disabled access

The fish and chips may have looked like supermarket bought but was perfectly cooked better than at home. Reasonable choice of beers

We had a great night! We only went in for a couple of drinks and ended up having food and enjoying the Karaoke until late in the night!

A proper English pub, loads of things going on every week, live music on Saturday and karaoke every Friday night from 8.

A proper pub. Friendly welcome from staff and customers, good choice of beers, food is excellent value and the chef even came over to us to check everything ok. They even encouraged us to stay for the pub quiz. Excellent night at a really good pub. Thank you!

Popped in whilst staying at caravan site a short walk away. It was a bit dark and gloomy but the food and drinks were good.

Had an amazing evening with Friday night karaoke. We travelled to visit family in our motorhome and Richard the landlord allowed us to stay in their carpark for the evening. Can't wait to pop back in there again soon.

Food is brilliant! George is an amazing chef... his carvery is the best! The meat is always cooked perfectly with a gorgeous and varied selection of veg. We have eaten here loads if times and never been disappointed

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We, like a few others moved tables to chase the sun (given current restrictions) but the girls were great 👍 will be back to take in the whole atmosphere when restrictions allow 😁
