found this men's hairdressers by their positive Google reviews and was not disappointed! Bailey was great, taking care to give me exactly the cut I wanted. Went for a wash and cut, and very satisfied with the result, got exactly the short hairstyle that I like, even after letting it grow out of control for 6 months. Easy to book online, and even got a last minute appointment. Decent coffee while you get your haircut is a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

Dan was a dream today, Understood how to cut Curly hair and did it well! And to top it off he had great chat which made the experience even better. It may be a small premises but even when busy you feel like you’re the focus and not being rushed.

Went to barbers on the off chance of getting a walkin appointment. I was greeted by a young guy called Dan, who explained he was a junior but could cut my hair if I wanted. I agreed and not only did I get a good cut, but met this amazing young guy. Good luck in the future Dan

I have been coming to this Barber Shop for many years now and the lads here are always so professional and welcoming, My son now gets his haircut here too, he absolutely loves the experience having the kids cut and now looks forward to visiting every time!

I've never been a fan of getting my haircut. I normally don't like the result or the awkward small talk. But I was recommended man about town. I have been going for years now. I mostly see Lloyd. I always enjoy our chats and he is an expert barber and always does a great job on my hair and beard. I normally go in looking like a neanderthal and come out looking a lot more respectable.

Best barbers in Essex you must be mad not to have your hair cut here, great atmosphere really nice fellas, George and Lorenzo are my favourites in particular. Hair and beard is always 100%

Having moved to Chelmsford in recent years it took a while to settle on a barbers. It's a great environment, quality cut, local business that's absolutely worth supporting.

Fantastic place! Jamie and the team always provide a great service. Especially like the efficient and easy to use online booking system.

I have been struggling to find a stylist who could understand my hair and give me the cut I wanted, but Jamie was able to do it perfectly. He listened to what I wanted and then gave me some great advice on how to style my hair. The cut is easy to style.

Jamie was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made me feel comfortable right away and took the time to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a great haircut. He is a true artist and I am so grateful for his work.

MATB is my favourite Barbers. Its located just off the main high street in chelmsford. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and unlike some places they will cut your hair how you want it. Highly recommended. They also have a online portal for bookings which is awesome.

Nipped in for a late appointment with Bailey last night due to several recommendations. Was abit worried about trying a new barber at first. But safe to say he absolutely smashed it. Always struggled to be happy with how the right side of my head is cut as it never seems to sit right. But Bailey smashed it absolutely buzzing with the cut. Will be back next month 100%. Thanks again
