Great pub stopped here for lunch, a little off the beaten track but well worth it, lovely atmosphere loved the mouse bar and seeing the little carvings of mice on the tables and bar, sat in bay window looking out to the road, unfortunately not a dry day otherwise would have sat outside.
Lunch was excellent we both had fish pie, mine salad the wife’s with vegetables both presented in lovely plate’s etc, I had a beer which was very good nice to see a well kept cellar of tapped beers. Finished off with a lovely cheesecake. Popped into shop next door and bought some nice biscuits for later, overall a great lunchtime in a lovely setting, will pop in again.

Came here for lunch with a friend. Wonderful well preserved pub with its little mouse mascot. Beautiful idyllic countryside spot surrounded by greenery and a very handy large car park. Excellent food and service. Good menu choices. Dog friendly, family friendly. Handy little shop of all sorts next door. Pretty much everything for a relaxing afternoon.

Stunning rooms! Lovely cosy Pub. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. We had a ground floor room with a semi-private garden area to sit and soak up the sun. The beds are large and the bathrooms pristine clean, and just cute in every way. The Inn served lovely foods, from dinner to breakfast. Very good value in every way. We had the Fish and Sunday Roast. Generous portions, and very tasty. Breakfast had lots of choices - we had the full English and the Smashed Avo on Rye - delicious. Great staff and pretty farmers market cafe alongside

Went for a Sunday dinner and it was really nice. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were really attentive and polite. A lovely place, I would definitely recommend, and it’s dog friendly, me and our friends took our two pups with us! Like I said I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and the banoffee pie was out of this world!

I was lucky enough to spend a night here on a recent trip. Arrived in pouring rain so couldn’t really appreciate the surroundings. Had already asked for a ground floor room as we had lots of luggage.
Room was fine, just gets quite a bit of noise from other rooms, people in the room upstairs, water noises etc.
Shower was a bit tricky to operate to ended up having a bath instead…..
Bed was very comfy.
Had dinner in the restaurant and it was absolutely lovely. So many good menu choices that we ended up over-eating - entree, main and shared cheese for dessert. My Cornish sardines for entree were delicious - would have been enough as my main but had already ordered the salmon. Salmon was ok; huge salad on the side which was fresh and delicious. The cheese platter was excellent.
All in all a lovely spot with great food - clearly a popular place as all tables in the restaurant were full on a week night!

We had a fantastic meal and stay at the Green Dragon. It was worth the detour from our walk on the Cotswold Way. Our room was stylish, clean and quiet. Dinner was delicious, as was breakfast, with both featuring top local produce. The shop next door is worth a look. It was fun to search for all of Robert Thompson's many mice in and around the bar too!

Cozy, delightful pub with fresh fare. A perfect place to enjoy lunch inside on a drizzly day, or sit outside on a sunny one! The shop has a great curated collection of local items. We loved our stop here after our nearby Alpaca encounter!

We're on a walking tour and stayed two nights.

Room - lovely and we were on the ground level and had a little patio. Bathroom was a tub and shower. Nice size, beautiful tile.

Food - we loved everything! The fish pie was my favorite.

Farm Shop - what a surprise! It's week appointed with everything from groceries to gifts. Many tasty treats!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the team for an amazing meal last night, I'm not one to give praise lightly and the quality of the food and the service was unbeatable. I have never had steak like it. You think you've had a nice steak but then you go here and find out how it's really supposed to be done, I had the rump and it was cooked to sheer perfection 👌 I only ever dreamed it could be cooked exactly how i like it. it was accompanied bybgreat big bowls of chips and vegetables which, was cooked nicely, but the steak... I was truly blown away. The atmosphere was lovely and rhe inn has a stunning olde world charm, which makes for a cosy and intimate setting, we did have a very large group of guys behind us that was unbelievably loud to the point where you wa shouting at the person opposite you just to have a conversation but you can't have it all i guess, The staff are wonderful and could not of been mote attentive. The drinks were the most perfect accompaniment to the meal and a clear informative wine list really helped in choosing what we liked.
Dessert finished the evening and the creme brulee and sticky toffee pudding again perfect 👌
Thank you again to all of you at the Green Dragon who worked so hard to give us alovely evening.

Fish and Chips on point. A great piece of meaty fish, flakey and full of flavour. Batter was perfect. Mushy peas some of the best I’ve had, nice chunky chips and homemade tartare sauce, nicely garnished with a wedge of lemon. Classic British food done extremely well 👌🏽

We had lunch at The Green Dragon yesterday, visiting for the first time in 30 years! The bars and restaurant were just as characterful as ever and our lunch was sensational. Widely varied menu and drinks catered for a variety of tastes and every staff member was helpful, friendly and attentive. Very highly recommended.

I've been to several pubs during my trip to England. The Green Dragon is definitely my favorite so far. The food is superb and the atmosphere is welcoming and old English.

My wife and I shared the Fish and Chips along with the burger. Both were very delicious and the desert of Chocolate strawberry pudding ended our meal in an exceptionally grand treat.

For those of you that enjoy the suds, there are a large variety of beers on tap.

I highly recommend visiting here.

Popped in for an evening meal with a colleague, was busy, that's always a good sign for an out of the way pub, staff were friendly and attentive, the menu was good with some tasty looking specials. I had the minted lamb and crème brulé, lovely, would recommend

An utterly charming spot, with plenty of micr carved into the furniture. It’s quintessentially Cotswolds, with low ceilings, hearty English fare and rolling hills right on their doorstep. Great sized portions, favourites included fish and chips alongside a herb-crusted fish pie. Lovely attentive staff. Highly recommended!

Very nice pub, and they keep the beer well. Beautiful spot, tucked away, but not too difficult to get to.

Not far from the hustle and bustle of Cheltenham is the tranquil Green Dragon, great food, good ale - look out for the hidden wooden mice carved by the master craftsman.
