Beautiful, little place and we will definitely be returning in warmer weather when its in full bloom. Small but we easily spent 2 hours walking at a leisurely pace and had a stop for tea and cake. Very reasonable prices and large slices of delicious cake. Loads of choice for herbal teas. Some paths might be tricky for those with mobility issues but there are plenty of seats and there are central toilets.

Lovely snowdrops walk. Garden offers year round interest, so looking forward to the next season.
Delicious selection of cake and range of hot drinks with plenty of seating.
Opportunity to buy plants.

What a hidden gem! Such a beautiful garden that is clearly well looked after and maintained. The self serve tea room was outstanding with an amazing range of herbal teas and other refreshments. The gardens and tearoom work on an honesty basis, and has card readers you can tap to pay by card. Can't wait to return at different times of the year to see the bluebells and tulips.

This walled garden is quite impressive. Lots of cottage garden plants, some in great colourful swathes, and many roses. Some of these climb 20-30 feet into the trees. The garden is in wonderful, peaceful countryside close to Cirencester. Just down the road stands a magnificent old church with a lychgate to suit.

Great gardens, can't wait to go back in the spring or summer when everything's is in bloom. Very nice for dogs on leads, including the self service cafe.

Crazy honesty box style entry (£6) pay by contact less or PayPal. Same in the little shop and beautiful self serve bothy cafe (remember to put you cups in the dishwasher.) There is a single toilet in the bothy and another nearby with changing mat. There are picnic benches near the grass car park. We loved the little dog freindly woodland walk and formal walled garden. This is a beautiful quirky little gem of a garden and well worth a visit.

Lovely walk around the gardens, which had changed a lot since I was last there probably 13 years ago!
It was packed full of drifts of snowdrops. I'm not sure how many different varieties there were, but my favourites were probably Galanthus Augustus, which were broad leaved and with plump snow white flowers.
There were a lot of beautiful hellebores there too.
The kids did the nature trail so meant we went everywhere!
The cafe was really nicely done in that it was done on an honesty scheme format, so therefore very orderly with labels everywhere, with so much choice of hot drinks and lovely big slabs of cake (the lemon drizzle looked gorgeous, but we'd bought our own snacks for the monsters) and a dishwasher to put all the dirties away.
There was a little shop off the wonderful walled kitchen garden, which sold sprouting/flowering bulbs, indoor plants and little succulents. There was also tables at entrance/exit that had plants for sale - notably at this time of year, different snowdrops!!
I have to say that it was not expensive either, and therefore the visit felt more pleasurable. I will be considering a season pass here, as it would be lovely to come back and see how changed the gardens become throughout spring, summer and autumn.
And lovely to support a local enterprise!

Beautiful serene gardens. Only spent a couple of hours or so here but could've stayed much longer!
Such a lot of hard work for small amount of staff. They must be devoted to it like their own gardens.
Fabulous little help yourself cafe with honesty box. Cakes are amazing 👏 and the setting. So fabulous it's like you're part of the garden. Enough area to have a picnic and wonder about woodland parks.
Strongly recommend a visit!!

Beautiful gardens, we visited in March after a long cold drab winter, it was showing subtle signs of the garden awakening... Loved the trust: so visitors can pay for their tea coffee, cakes and entrance on trust, themselves (with card machines, or cash)... For some of the time we were the only people in the gardens, so special, so quiet. Loved the hellebores snowdrops and early bulbs. The herb garden was so peacefully sleeping we felt it's healing power sitting in the pagoda and listening to the birds and taking in the views. Hilly and wild as well as Victorian /manor house feel the walled rose garden and the herb garden are behind the house, the ponds, ha and larger trees to the front. Lovely healthy plants for sale and superb cakes in the little self serve tea rooms. Worth a trip, but go off peak as atmosphere romantic, secret, in inspirational.

This was my first visit. Beautiful peaceful walk , good value for money compared to other places. Beautiful flowers and fruit trees. Lovely self service excellent selection of drinks and cake. There are blankets inside if its chilly and outside seating area south facing. They had dairy free milk which was great.

A lovely garden with a section that is walled with divisions for d8fferent styles of planting. When we visited, there were loads of different snowdrops and hellebores in flowers, but it looks like there will be further variations throughout the seasons. There are numerous honesty boxes dotted around for payment, including when entering the gardens, which I found to be quite heartening in this day and age

What a beautiful place! Each season really shines, from the snowdrop woods in the spring, to the glorious colours of the flowers in the summer. The honesty kitchen is a wonderful idea and brilliant for a sit down and a catch up. The little terrace outside is a real sun trap with me getting a tan in February! A rarity and a true gem of a place it's well worth a visit.

What a lovely garden and what a visitor system. Cash or card entry payment run via honesty box as is the tea bothy. Ingenious. Great selection of drinks and cakes; also cheeses, vegetables, fruit and plants to buy. Walking around inside the walled garden very pleasant - have taken away some great ideas. Would recommend!

Lovely gardens that are hidden from the main road. Lots of small walks surrounding the gardens. There is a little shop with home made cakes and coffee and tea. There are also toilets.
