Amazing customer service from Kara on the parcel collection desk on Mother’s Day 2024, she was kind enough to go above and beyond to make it special for my mum - and she did it with a smile! Thank you so much.

A nice branch of Waitrose with very friendly staff members.
There’s a big car park and let me attach the tariff for it. (Free parking up to 30 mins for even non-customers. Free parking up to 2 hours for customers who spend more than £10.)

It can be slightly confusing as to where the main entrance for your first visit, but it can be directly accessed from the car park, i.e. if you find yourself leaving the car park to find the entrance, it is not a good sign - it is the mistake I made. Alternatively, try to follow people from the car park :)

Spacious branch with plenty of tills - even at the back of the branch for baskets only so it is quite convenient.

A nice sized shop with all the products you'll ever need plus friendly staff.

I was taken ill just before shopping at Waitrose and their care for me was exceptional.
They did my shopping for me, ordered a taxi to take me home and allowed me to leave my car in the car park. Thankyou Waitrose

Buyer beware it looks like prices dropped, but nuts are up & fresh fruit. Basket check out people using packed trollies which is annoying. There was a trolley jam yesterday.

I shop here and have always found the partners very helpful.. today was no exception .. I had bought bread double cream wine ham various things I’m on foot so don’t go mad .. I got home to find the seal on the cream was not secure .. the day hadn’t gone well and to get home and find half a tub of double cream all over my shopping nailed it really .. felt like crying 😭 I did clean up but called Waitrose to tell them as bread and cream I couldn’t rescue .. Daniel who I spoke to was very sympathetic just come down and we will replace your bread and cream .. I went to get the cream and back to customer service to take my bread .. I was given a lovely bunch of flowers 💐!! Now at this point I did cry … !!! I can never thank Daniel and Kara enough now THATS what you call brilliant customer service .. that act of kindness made me so happy as I’d had one of those days ..Massive thanks to Waitrose Southsea xxxx Happy Christmas 🎄

It is so helpful that you can order on line from John Lewis and collect from this Store!

Excellent range of high quality products and special offers. Polite, friendly and efficient service with no queue at the till. Last time I wanted houmous and found two varieties on special offer. I also found a vegetarian quiche reduced for quick sale which was perfect for my lunch. As of 7 November 2022, Waitrose have resumed the offer of a free hot drink with any purchase, however small, but you must bring your own cup.

I got my speciality teas from here and really nice Waitrose own coffee good price too.
