Lovely campsite run by a very friendly helpful lady. We sat with an electric hook up watching the bunnies play just in front of us. Very quiet area

The only downside I would say is you have to pay for your shower. £1 for 15 minutes.i feel like we should have been told at check-in so we knew to have change on us for this. That being said, the shower was lovely and hot and very clean. Just make sure you have a few £1 coins to hand.

Two toilets on site are very clean. Separate washing up facilities in a small kitchen area, including a fridge freezer, to store food and drinks. 10 minute drive to the beach, which is beautiful.

Fab 7 night stay here. Large pitch at the top of the big field which had amazing views of the mountains. Everyone stuck to quiet time from 11pm. We slept really well as it was so quiet.

Showers and toilets were kept clean. Take 20p coins for the showers. The new shower block currently being built will be a great improvement. Only one washing up sink for the big field so we sometimes had a short wait.

Appreciated the fridge and the freezer for ice packs. Some sticky labels would be a good addition.

The WiFi was good. We were able to watch the Olympics in the tent 🙌🏼.

The beach at Newborough is stunning and they have Parkrun on Saturdays 🙂

We've had a lovely weekend stay here with our 2 year old for his first camping trip. Really pleasant site with lots of wildlife. Very reasonably priced with clean facilities. We've stayed at alot of places previously and this one is definitely up there with the best. We will definitely be returning for sure 👍 Thanks Jean and Wendy x

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a large tent with an EHU and stayed for a week. Wendy was lovely and helpful - guiding us personally to our pitch and talking us through how to get set up. The area is lovely and everything on the Isle is about 30 minutes, so you can easily do and/or visit everything very easily. I climbed Snowdon one day with my wife and young toddler going up on the train - this was a short drive to the base car park. Facilities on the site are clean and well maintained - with toilets, shower and kitchen (with fridge and freezer). One thing you should note, the shower runs on a coin meter (20p for 3 minutes, or it also takes £1) - this I don't have any issue with, but we just don't carry cash with us these days (not least of all 20p's), so don't get caught out, take some with you.
Dogs are welcomed and the normal, sensible restrictions apply (keeping on a lead, for example).
Each plot consists of the pitch and a vehicle space.

A Charming Retreat at Tŷ Croes Farm & Vineyard Campsite

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our one-night stopover at Tŷ Croes Farm & Vineyard Campsite was an absolute delight! I called Wendy at short notice, and her warm and friendly response immediately set the tone for a memorable experience.

The campsite's easy accessibility made it a breeze to reach, and I was thrilled to learn that we could have a cozy fire during our stay. The basic but clean toilets and showers were well-maintained, providing a comfortable and refreshing camping experience.

One aspect that truly impressed us was the campsite's sheltered location, protecting us from the elements and ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Moreover, the spacious pitch with electric hookup allowed us to set up the campervan with ease, making it a stress-free process.

The campsite's strict 11 pm curfew policy ensured a quiet and tranquil atmosphere, which I appreciated, as it allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings.

Having a petrol station conveniently located just down the road was a lifesaver, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. While there were no nearby pubs, We found it practical to bring our own food to cook, which only added to the charm of the camping experience.

All in all, Tŷ Croes Farm & Vineyard Campsite proved to be a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this traditional and friendly campsite to fellow travelers seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature's beauty. I can't wait to return for a longer stay and explore more of what this lovely campsite and the area have to offer. Thank you, Wendy, for making our short stay a truly memorable one!

We loved it at Ty Croes.
Wendy and Jean are both very welcoming and looked after us from arrival. We were shown around, set up with a fire pit and we got plenty of tips on where to go locally.
The pitches are well spaced out and the shower / facilities are regularly cleaned.
I would recommend them if you are looking for a nice quiet family, dog friendly campsite

Just back from an Easter break at Ty Croes, our first time visiting. What a great campsite, we all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going again. The campsite is really well kept and the toilet blocks were always spotless - even over the busy Easter weekend. The owner Wendy is super friendly and really helpful. We hired a fire pit which was fun and explored the grapevines. The site is located close (2/3miles) to the fabulous Newborough beach and pine forest. All in all, an excellent place!
