The Shoe Gallery has an enormous range of high quality shoes to chose from. My wife is severely disabled and in a wheelchair, and the staff there were incredibly helpful and patient. They expertly fitted her and the young lady carefully got the correct fit. A sincere thanks to the staff for exceptional service.

Fantastic shopping experience - a rare thing to say about shoe shopping! I like to browse on my own but really I wish I'd just asked for advice immediately. Kim looked after me brilliantly. Talked about their stock and helped me find both slippers and shoes I could wear on my wide feet. I am on medication that causes skin cracks and can cause in growing nails. Wearing my own shoes and slippers had become quite painful and by helping me identify the right size and responding brilliantly to my initial choices, Kim helped me find both slippers and shoes I liked and most importantly ones I could put on and off and walk in without hurting my feet. She would disappear to the stockroom and returned more than once with a pile of boxes with shoes for me to try, giving me different widths until I found the best ones for me. Cannot recommend highly enough. Specialist knowledge and super kind support. Proper wide fitting shoes will not be cheap! But worth every penny. And service like this - is priceless.

Found a boot on their website not available anywhere else. Emailed to confirm stock was actually available, received a reply promptly confirming the availability and I placed my order on Wednesday. Boots have arrived today (Friday) and are exactly what I ordered and in perfect condition. Very happy with the service and the boots. Would definitely order from them again.

There is such a lot of choice of high quality shoes of all styles at prices to suit everyone's budget. They even have some "Irregular Choice" shoes as well as other high end brands. The staff are exceptionally helpful, kind and attentive and it was a relaxed, comfortable and successful shopping experience. I can't wait to go there again!

A good friend recommended I went here when I said I was looking to buy some boots. The choice was really good, the quality is excellent and I was lucky enough to get a lovely pair of boots in the sale. I would recommend not parking nearby as it's expensive.

Nice to return to the shop after many years. They still stock a large range of great quality shoes for everyday wear. Thankfully carefully chosen and sourced from good manufacturers. The staff are really knowledgeable, not a surprise to learn that the shop has been trading there for 37 years. Well worth a visit and supporting the shop.

I went there to look for wide shoes for my little one as couldn't find any in other shoe shops. The staff were very professional, friendly and patient with us. They measured both feet and brought a very wide range of shoes for us to try. They checked the fit for every pair and helped me pick the right ones for my little one. I rang the store after having placed an online order I'd subsequently worried was in the wrong size as the brand can be hit and miss for me, and these absolute heroes got a staff member with the same size as me to try them on to check. Very happy with my shoes, top marks.

Always helpful and friendly service, as well as a really good range of footwear and associated products. (Have just bought boots, shoes, and slippers as well as suede spray protector from them.) I never buy footwear from anywhere else.

We’ve used them for the children’s school shoes for the last few years. Only once had a problem, but it was quickly and kindly sorted with no hassle.
