Glenside Country Practice

I swapped to this surgery from Lakeside in Stamford. All I can say is thank goodness I did! I have received excellent service from the very first. The phone is answered after a couple of rings. The Doctors call back very quickly & they have a sense of humour which suggests they are normal people just like their patients! Well done All! Many thanks. X

Doctors appointments quite quick, re ordered medication, and picked up when they said.

Always are flexible and are happy to help

Staff are usually very helpful. However I find the main qualified doctor to be off-hand, uncaring and too bothered about the financial implications of treating a patient rather than listen to and actually act on what the patient is saying. It’s almost as if he has his fingers in his ears saying “blah, blah, blah” loudly over you.

I don't know if this is just standard for doctors across the country, but when I got there it was a 30 minute wait so clearly they were running late. And as a result of this when I went in to see the doctor it was extremely rushed and he was highly impatient. I tried to explain the multiple symptoms I had been experiencing and he said please stop I only have 10 minutes and I can only listnl to one thing, completely disregarding the fact that the symptoms are probably linked. I feel all he has done is just pass me on to someone else to deal with because he is more focused on the growing back log of patients. Complete waste of my time!

Does not communicate with other areas of the NHS, had some awkward/distressing phone calls because of it.
