Hadley & Ottaway Ltd - Removals Norwich

We recently used Hadley and Ottaway for our home move, they couldn’t have been better, they arrived on time, packed us up swiftly and with care, wrapped and unwrapped what they said they would and covered the flooring we would definitely recommend them.

These guys are excellent, right from the original survey when great advice was offered, through to the move itself when the team did a great job moving us from Norfolk to Aberdeenshire. The price was extremely competitive as well!!

First rate, punctual, very polite always sought clarification on items to store and those coming direct.

Any company is only as good as its worst operatives and this is most definitely true of Hadley and Ottaway . Moving home is of itself highly stressfull but their operatives were beyond belief and we suffered the consequences of their untrained , uncouth and utterly rude staff behaviour ,attitude and actions of which the management were quite dismissive. We expressed our concerns to " WHICH " whose endorsement they appear to have and they too were relatively disinterested. They sent us a complaint form to fill out ! It was for a complaint about a buildig contractor !This says a lot about WHICH too. I have since discovered that WHICH has a very low rating on " TRUSTPILOT "which says it all really .I strongly recommend you read the 1 and 2 star reviews before choosing your removal company,there is too much at stake if you make the wrong choice. Better to be forewarned .

I was super impressed with your professional and courteous manner, while at the same time really friendly and made us feel at ease you would deliver first class removal services also make it as stress free as possible. From our first contact to the last, Hadley and Ottaway have been brilliant. Going above and beyond and showing immense patience and sensitivity. The administrative team were always polite and the people providing quotations (which were good value for money) and the removal team have been amenable and professional. No breakages and they moved the baby grand piano!

An excellent service from a professional team. Everything went smoothly, from quotation to removal. All the team were courteous, conscientious and careful with our belongings. Our two day removal was completed without any issues and the team worked so hard to make it easy for us on the day. Would thoroughly recommend.

From the first initial meeting with Chris I felt completely reassured that I was in good hands, having had other quotes it was apparent to me Chris was by far more competent, professional, straight talking and experienced in what he does. It was clearly explained to me what the plan would be to remove and store the items and I promptly received an email detailing everything we had discussed. Talking on the phone/email with Kerrie and the others who I can only assume deal with the business in house was very easy, professional and to top it off they just seem like lovely people...Nothing was ever too much trouble. The chaps who packed and loaded the lorry again were extremely prompt on arrival, professional and a pleasure to talk to.

From start to finish my experience using H&O has been nothing less than excellent...I deal with a lot of companies on a daily basis and if I’m honest I haven’t received this level of service in a long time, very refreshing.

Hadley & Ottaway were able to move us out of our 4th floor apartment at very short notice. They were courteous, professional and really careful with all of our possessions. I would definitely recommend!

The service was excellent from start to finish, cannot fault the team that assisted with my move. There was not even a scratch on any of my items (and there was lots to move!). Would definitely recommend Hadley and Ottoway to anyone requiring a removals company.

They aren't the cheapest, but neither are they they most expensive, however, the are the best removal company that I have ever used. They were very on top of the whole process start to finish. The guys that did our removal were polite and efficient, taking a lot of the stress out of the move for us.

Superb moving experience, great crew and done the job comprehensively.....could not fault them. Would also thank the company for being so flexible re moving several moving dates due to properties falling through etc.

The guys we have were first class, made the 4 bed house move so simple. The team were really polite and careful, cannot recommend H&O highly enough, not the cheapest but in life you get what you pay for!
