Great little quiet country pub. Ina beautiful village off the beaten track. Just stopped for a quick lunch time drink but they were very friendly and welcoming. Has a pool table and on Thursdays different food vans every week. Definitely worth a visit

We popped here as a treat for the boys, they had a food stall there... so we got drinks from the pub and sat on the benches outside. Lovely service and friendly

Exactly what you expect from a village pub, the landlord and landlady are very friendly, as are the staff. The food is excellent and they have a great range of beer.

Dropped in today with my little dog. Lovely atmosphere and VERY dog friendly. Ordered beef n ale pie with chips, peas n gravy. Out came a HUGE piece of pie with perfectly cooked chips- crisp outside and fluffy inside. Jug of gravy and sweet peas- a delicious plate of food washed down with a bitter shandy. Thoroughly recommend The Eagle and will be back. Thank you!!

We just enjoyed a proper pub meal, with proper pub portions, and proper beer. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful, thank you.

Clean and tidy. Well stocked bar. The food, small menu, but find something you would like to eat..Fantastic meal. Excellent service. The main meal was great,the afters were amazing!!!!

Best pub in Norfolk clean fun place good very good food. Dog friendly . And children friendly. Darts pool. Great staff. Good service. A really nice young family run pub. Go now. You will not be disappointed. And they have some very nice ale. Just look at the 5star s people have been given by members of public. There not wrong.

A breath of fresh air! Perfect village pub. Cheap, large portions of well done pub staples like steak, ham egg and chips, steak and ale pie etc.
Fab range of beers and ales, great service, friendly staff. This pub offers serious value for money. Will be visiting again most definitely !! Lovely x

Lovely little village pub, excellent food and friendly staff. Photographic history of the pub and village dotted around the pub that shows the importance of the place to village life. Being an outsider but made very welcomed and would gladly come again if in the area.

I had a fantastic time visiting the Eagle in Hockham - a quintessentially English country pub in a beautiful village in Norfolk. Aaron the barman was really friendly and welcoming when I came in. The pub has just opened a new courtyard and it looks great; good food and a nice selection of beers. I haven't been (going next time) but there's also a quiz night every fortnight.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, ambiance and delicious food, I had a great night at psychic night and would highly recommend this place

Warm friendly welcome, made a fuss of our dogs, excellent service, great home cooked food using locally sourced ingredients, would definitely recommend and will call in again next time in area.
