The Georgian Townhouse

This was my first visit, and I'm likely to go back. The venue is very well presented, with a lovely long bar and welcoming staff. The dining room and annex rooms are available for private functions, and I attended as a guest. There was a good selection of beers and ales, and although I didn't dine, the buffet on offer was very nice indeed. There is onsite parking and pay meters, but I'm not sure if guests can park for free. A five- to ten-minute walk into town, the venue offers a great alternative to town pubs and bars if you want a more secluded get-together.

What a find. This is a great spot close to the historic center but with the feeling of a more secluded pub. The room was clean, comfortable and dead quiet. The staff were uniformly welcoming and friendly. The food was of a high standard. And the “Lazy Sunday” package is an incredible value. The place could use a lick of paint, but otherwise a fantastic night away.

We went for the spring bank holiday weekend, as they had events and a BBQ in the garden. We didn't stay the night so can't comment on rooms, but the event was brilliant.
They had a singer (Chris Taylor) who sung and played guitar; wide variety of music and very talented!
Food was delicious: we both had sandwiches which were very good quality, and came with chips rather than crisps!
Really good selection of beer, and a lovely afternoon.

Found this gem by chance, the room we had (no 15) was perfect, me and my wife travel a lot and this is one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in.
Staff were super friendly from the time we got there until we left.
Adequate car parking.
Restaurant was very nice though a limited choice and breakfast was great.

My only problem was shower was very weak and had a very narrow stream.

Thank you for making our night stay in Norwich perfect. Attentive staff. We had an evening meal and our breakfast, of which the breakfast was included in the price of the room. Lovely food.

My family and I came for dinner last night, having not visited before. Lovely atmosphere and thoughtful interior. The food was delicious and came very quickly. Very friendly staff & amazing service - the lady serving us was very attentive and helpful! Thank you ☺☺

Amazing place to drink, dine, stay, party. Fab location near the city centre, wonderful staff. Food is incredible. Rooms are lovely. The function room is great for weddings, parties and corporate events.

We were attending a private party, venue and food very good.. bar tenders "accidentally " charged 2 separate People in our party £7 to £10 too much... they were very quick to apologise and reimburse the money... but maybe a bit of a worry.... tills not working right?..
Don't really want to have to double check your bill when you are on a night out..

Stayed 3 nights over Christmas with bed and breakfast. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff in a very well appointed and comfortable micro hotel a short stroll from the city centre. Excellent breakfasts and overall exceptional value. Thoroughly recommended.

We recently stayed there overnight for my sons wedding party ..The room was brilliant and the staff where so helpful .The owner must be proud of you all .They worked so hard making every relaxed...Lovely meal and snacks and the breakfast Delicious...Thankyou all

Went here for a big family birthday. There were 12 adults and 2 kids under 7 and the staff were great with us all. The service was good, the food took a bit of time but it was all cooked beautifully. The staff were very timely with taking orders and making sure we all had drinks, and they were also great with the young ones too.
The food and drinks were very nice and worth the price.
The venue itself was lovely.
The car park was quite busy and can struggle to find a parking spot.

A lovely establishment, friendly staff and a great choice of wines. The prices are a little on the expensive side, so I’d only visit as a treat occasionally.

We had dinner at the Georgian Townhouse Restaurant during our stay in Norwich in the October half term. The staff were extremely attentive and pleasant and the food was delicious. We had the ham and chicken pie and the barbecue pork ribs. The portions were very generous - so much so, we could not squeeze a dessert! We would recommend their cocktails too.

Brilliant venue, excellent room and service. Very good value fir money and in a great position to explore Norwich

Beautiful stay! Room was spotless. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was beautiful.

Highly recommend this hotel, we just had a 1 night stay but it was lovely. We had an apartment over the road, spotless and staff polite and friendly and welcoming.

Delicious food, central location, we booked table next to kids area which the kids loved and played until mealtime which worked well! Atmosphere was great and service was great 👍 Would definitely recommend and we will be back soon!

Perfect location from which to explore Norwich.

Able to leave the car in the car park for the entire duration!
Comfortable room, slightly smaller than the average hotel room, but with plenty of amenities such as tea and coffee making and mini-bar.
Recommend booking direct.... our breakfast was included in the price which was extremely competitive (cheaper!) than most of the hotel booking sites.

Only came in for some drinks with a friend and was wowed by the quality of the barstaff! Gorgeous and unique drinks, reasonable prices and a stunning, relaxing atmosphere. Special thanks to the barmaid, Amy. She truly did go the extra mile! Will be returing soon!
