Kett's Heights

Perfect view point to see the city from heights, but in a sunny day it’s even more spectacular. There is areas for sitting down and nice pathways for a nice walk and beautiful view at the end.

Go take a look. Stunning views over Norwich. Kids will love it - lots of paths to explore. Lovingly restored by volunteers, I think and nicely done, not over restored. Ideal for a meet up with a flask.

What a fantastic yet somehow little-known spot. Really lovely (I'm restraining myself from using the word 'Awesome') views across the city. Incredibly it's on the edge of a precipitous... cliff... basically. "Very flat, Norfolk" said Noel Coward. Au-contraire m'dear (and yes, I know what he meant... and that's not true either!). Give this place a look if you have a spare hour.

A lovely little piece of paradise, it's quite uphill but when you get to the top it's very peaceful and well worth it. There's a bench up there so you can rest. Beautiful greenery around and shrubs etc. The wire fence that has been erected is shutting off an area where the path is unsafe so go down, trees have fallen and the path has been quite broken up and fallen down, quite dangerous if you try.
Worth a visit here for sure. Possibly wouldn't visit later when it gets darker, as there was clearly an area where a fire was burnt on the ground so there's obviously people congregating at night/the evening. I'm pretty sure it's not legal to light a fire here.

Fantastic views of city and green open spaces. Ideal for dog walking.

Currently reading Tombland and wanted to discover a place from the book. This is a beautiful little area of Norwich. The views are stunning and it's so atmospheric. You could really imagine Ketts camp being set up here. Even if you are not interested in the historical aspect this is still a hidden gem

We went on a rainy day but still had a nice time. Lots of little paths and tracks to explore.

Also lovely herb garden and small orchard. Plenty of history to read about, dotted around the site.

There is quite a lot of steps and ramps, so not the most accessible.

Discovered this tucked away little park by accident after moving to Norwich a couple of months ago. Secluded and shady parts with great views over the City (better than Britannia Road). Nice herb garden and plenty of wild flowers, someone with walking difficulties might find the steep terrain and steps challenging though. Definitely will return.

Great views, would be awesome at night but gets locked (?? Not sure why).

After finding out via my family tree i am related to Robert and William Kett I have been meaning to visit Ketts Heights. I finally got the time to visit and what a beautiful and peaceful place with fantastic view of Norwich.

Hidden gem! Great for a small walk and views of the city 🙂

Incredible views over Norwich and perfect for watching a sunset, I find the view here even better than from St James Hill at Mousehold in many ways.

A gentle walk with 20 others and two knowledgeable gentlemen.

Lovely, peaceful & beautiful place 4 a gentle stroll. Has plenty of quiet spaces where can sit, take in scenery & have picnic. Also has space for small fire pit/barbecue

Went there with my Dog on way home from my folks, its halfway down Ketts Hill, was quite a nice walk, had rest at Herb Garden
