I had been dealing with a rotator cuff injury for some time and not getting any joy from our local doctors....luckily these guys came to the rescue! I made an online enquiry and then spoke to a lovely lady called Nicola, this was on the Thursday the 16th of December 2021, she then booked me in with Gareth after deciding what was the best course of action...on Tuesday the 21st of December. Just a few days later! The utter joy that came over me...I cried. Knowing that I'd get the injection done and I'd be fine for Christmas. Elated!

I was nervous before my appointment but I certainly didn't need to be. What a lovely welcome! Gareth was an absolute star. He asked all the questions he needed to and got on with the job in hand. I've had the procedure done before and it hurt like HECK! I also had the flare up pain for two days after...I wasn't looking forward to that. But I can honestly say I didn't get the flare up pain half as bad as I had before! I spoke to Gareth about my worries and about the flare up and he put my mind at ease. Because he does SO many of these injections he is EXTREMELY experienced. He knows what's what basically. This is his bread and butter. He goes to all the relevant training year on year which is why I had minimal flare up pain! The procedure itself took seconds! No flimm flamming about trying to find the right spot, I had worried for NOTHING!

I wanted to wait to leave a review to see how long the effects would last from the injection. I've had a good few months of being pain free. Absolutely WELL WORTH the cost. I'll be calling to get booked in again that's for sure. Why on earth would I go elsewhere!

Don't hesitate, if you are in pain get in touch. Gareth is an absolute rock star and I can't recommend him enough.

I had a Cortisone injection with Gareth Tremain on Friday 5th Feb to treat Carpal Tunnel. I was a bit nervous about getting this done, mainly due to my needle phobia.
Gareth put me at ease, and it was a nearly painless procedure. The results are amazing, I wish I had had this done sooner.

Very pleased to have an appointment that suited me, the patient! Gareth Tremain not only gave me a relatively pain free cortisone injection in my knee but also took time to explain fully the process and expected benefits. I will be returning for future treatment rather than waiting months to even get an appointment with my GP practice steroid clinic. Shame on you NHS - thank goodness for a professional, speedy and trusty alternative provider.

I would like to express my extreme gratitude for the help support and treatment that Kim Eldridge gave me over the last few weeks. She should be re-named "the Miracle Worker", because my sciatic pain has virtually gone. I was in extreme pain but now it's gone. Thank you very much..

I cannot speak highly enough of Gareth Tremain and the treatment I received. The pain I was in following a 40mph rear shunt car accident was incredible, over time Gareth has worked his magic and I am now feeling pretty good.
I dont normally leave reviews, however, having also recommended Gareth to friends and family and hearing their positive comments I feel it's the least I can do.
Put simply, if you are suffering in silence make an appointment, it's a small price to pay if someone is able to relieve your pain and put a smile back on your face.

I saw Gareth a few days ago and received an injection of Hyaluronic Acid, Durolane Single brand for a very painful knee. I am so pleased with the result and am looking forward to getting on the golf course after a couple more days of resting. Gareth is extremely knowledgeable and professional and I recommend him very highly to anyone who is suffering needlessly. Thanks Gareth!! 😄

Had treatment for shoulder pain. Great service from Gareth and the team. No presure for me to book follow up and left to me based on progression of injury/recovery. Great approach which puts me as the patient first. Will definitely return if required.

My Dad came ro see Kim for acupuncture for issues with his shoulder. She spent a considerable time working through any issues and explaining what she was going to do. She took her time and was very kind and considerate to my Dad. She gave him numerous treatments including acupuncture and gave him exercises to do. We would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Professional and friendly service. I was a little apprehensive going to a "sports" orientated place as i by no means fit the description of a fit healthy or sporty person...but I was made to feel completely at ease. Gareth was lovely. Booked in for a cortisone injection in my heel which was delivered quite painlessly.

Great service. After suffering a random injury to my knee I thought my running hobby was done, never read the Internet about symptoms, I couldn't comfortably walk fast or up stairs. However Gareth from the IPS reassured me that whilst these injuries are complex they do resolve with time and appropriate treatment and therapy. I finally ran my first 5 mile after around 10 sessions. I had some mild discomfort due to the amount of time between runs but importantly none of the after inflammation and soreness.

Age 69 and physically active all my life. I was devastated when Arthritis of my knee severely effected my mobility. After a consultation with Physiotherapist Gareth Tremain, we agreed Hyaluronic Gel Shots would be the way forward. Within 4 weeks I was back walking the Coastal Path and exercising at the same level I was 20 years ago.
Not only has my physical capability improved but as you would expect also my mental well being.

Had a session with Gareth yesterday for my very painful De Quervains Tenosynovosis in my right hand, had a steroid injection and am feeling the benefits already. I was so anxious about the condition and its disabling effects due to the pain and restriction in my thumb. Gareth was a lot more knowledgable and his advice was much more helpful and made a lot more sense than that previously given by another Physiotherapist in the NHS. I would highly recommend Gareth and IPS, I was seen so quickly and could never have waited for the NHS treatment. I found the consultation fees and treatment fees very reasonable.

This is the best treatment I have had. Very happy with time they give to listen to you and to discuss the options. They believe your physical issues and how it makes you feel (unlike other places I have been for treatment).
They don't rush the treatment and always happy to answer questions. Price is really good for the time and attention you get. Would highly recommend.

I was referred here after an RTA and given an appointment with Mr Gareth Tremain whom I saw during weekly sessions. Mr Tremain was friendly, efficient and explained his techniques, what he hoped to achieve and the reasons behind the injury. Despite being in considerable discomfort these thorough sessions soon provided relief which proved to be longlasting. As well as receiving treatment I received advice for other ways of helping the injury. I would thoroughly recommend this service and would not hesitate to make them my first port of call in the future. Thanks IPS and Mr Tremain.
