The High Street Cafe

I have to say that High Street Cafe ranks among the top my favourite early-morning cafes in Oxford list. The first thing to highlight is their cinnamon bun, seriously good! Secondly, their savoury crepes, are seriously good! Thirdly their breakfast menu, the choice is fantastic. And.. the best part of the cafe, is the view from its glass wall. Oh, another best fact- everything is halal 👏🏼 The owner is a Moroccan Muslim. Spacious space! Clean toilet!

Scones made in heaven!! Absolutely delicious. Light, soft and just sweet enough. Ask for the scones with clotted cream and jam with coffe or tea. We also had poached eggs luxury Benedict and Morrocan chicken fajitas, milkshakes and crepes. All well made and presented. Friendly and fast staff service. Great value for money! I highly recommend it! 😋 I haven’t got pictures of the scones. We ate them to fast😅

Greeted by a gentleman with an excellent smile and great recommendations. Cute interior with lots of seating. Enjoyed a pot of tea and scone with clotted cream and jam. Others enjoyed the cinnamon bun. The scone is fabulous. In fact, one of the best I have ever had. Enough to see if I could obtain the recipe, which the gentleman did accommodate! I will add this recipe to my family recipe book, as to enjoy in years to come and vividly remember my visit to this cafe!

This restaurant never ceases to amaze me. The place is beautiful, the staff are excellent. And a special mention for the cinnamon buns, they were delicious. If you come to Oxford, you absolutely must try them!

Incredible sweet treats, Cookies and Creme waffle super stacked up with goodies and extremely fluffy and fresh. Cinnamon muffin from the window display was out of this world. Caramel frappe great and not too sweet , the whipped cream on top actually held up the entire time we were sat to eat which is rare to find. Super friendly service!

A family girl's day in Oxford and so pleased we had lunch here the crepes were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it added to our lovely day.

Lovely small cafe, with very warm and nice staff. Ordered the Nutella crepe, which was super tasty and a good size. The woman gave us ice cream on the side with our crepe when asked also. Great customer service and really good desserts, would recommend.

As soon as we walked in the cafe we were welcomed by a friendly waitress and we were also introduced to the owner of the restaurant who guided us to our table by the window. Upon ordering we noticed that they had a lotus biscoff waffle but not a milkshake, however, we requested a lotus milkshake and they kindly accepted. We also ordered a single serving of cool strawberries crepe but we had told the waitress that it was between the two of us. Soon after we received our food and to our surprise it was nicely divided into two plates - Both with a scoop of ice cream and whip cream! love the environment of the restaurant very warm and comforting. Really nice selection of sweet and savoury crepes. Option of buckwheat flour so gluten free. Very pleasant.

Excellent customer service and felt very welcome. The food was delicious and fresh. Lovely strong coffee too. Well kept and tidy.

Really good crepe omg

beautiful, clean, and with lovely service!! i had the strawberry delight crepe and a chai frappe, which came in a funky and unique lightbulb bottle :) the crepe was warm, delicious, and (from the picture) beautifully prepared. this was the only thing i got but the menu was plentiful in other options. i would recommend this place to anyone and i plan to come again!

The scones here are some of the best I’ve had in the U.K. a definite recommend for afternoon tea. At a much more affordable price then the other offerings along the same road.

The meals are big and very tasty. Highly recommended for everyone around Oxford.

Sat down for tea and pie. Very nice pie and good tea were what we got. Friendly staff. We had a nice view of the busy intersection next to Magdalen College

Better than most dessert shops

The savory crepes (Atlantic & Supreme) were delicious!!!
The place had vegetarian options, cold and hot drinks. And even baked goods.

Great coffee, the mocha had great chocolate flavor and my friend got the flat white and said it was fantastic.

My sister and I visited this cafe and ordered a banana split crepe and an Oreo waffle. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement. The taste was unparalleled - we have never had anything quite like it before. I highly recommend trying the food at High Street Cafe if you haven't already, because you are truly missing out on a gastronomic experience. In addition to the delectable food, the service was impeccable. The two young ladies who attended to us were incredibly friendly and engaging, and the gentleman at the tills was also kind and accommodating. My younger sister accidentally spilled my hot chocolate, but he promptly gave me a replacement without any fuss. Overall, our experience at this cafe was outstanding and we look forward to returning soon.
