King Sedgemoor Inn Cookhouse + Pub

We celebrate our daughters 16th birthday here last night (20 April). The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, they were so helpful, friendly had us all in stitches our server was so good and he definitely made our meal an amazing experience. Food was really yummy, and reasonably priced. The play area was perfect for the youngest members of the family (aged 4 and 5) to run of all their energy, the play area was very clean and tidy. All the staff came over and sang Happy Birthday with us at the end of the meal which made the evening really special. Would definitely recommend visiting this family friendly pub.

We were staying in the hotel over bank holiday weekend and had booked a meal plan. We arrived early for our meal slot by 10mins and were greeted and shown to our table which was great. Our server was Paul T and he was super. Very friendly, attentive and professional and went through the options concisely and was just really helpful. A credit to the Resturant. The food was fast, piping hot and very tasty. There was a variety of meals and they all came out at the same time and were lovely. I would happily recommend this place.

We had a meal last night for my daughters birthday. Over 12 of us so we preordered. We didn't wait long, the food arrived, perfect, hot. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Totally recommend 👌

Me and my boyfriend went the Sunday carvery - traveled an hour just for it as it’s the best around!!
Served by Paul who was 5*, friendly and bubbly man who made us feel welcome.
The man serving the carvey is a smiley face and always gives generous portions.

Have a lovely later afternoon here. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Too attentive and great with our 3 year old son. Very child friendly and food was lovely also. Very clean place also but most impressed by how kind and friendly the staff were

Great food, friendly staff, nice and clean. The added bonus if you have children is they have a large indoor play zone which is manned by a member of staff. Brilliant pub/restaurant

Reasonably priced food, quick and polite service. There is a kids indoor play area, climbing frames and slides etc but has an additional charge of £4.50 per child, thought expensive as we were eating in. Generally a very pleasant atmosphere.

Honestly amazing place. The staff went above and beyond their work duties for us, We were visiting family & one of her children (5 year old girl) has a rare brain tumour.. Niki (the medic & a truly amazing lady ) arranged for us to have the play area just for our 3 children she had to come in early & arrange it through the manager & didn't even charge us the earth for it either. Niki even took the little girl on all the equipment which gave her mum a brake. Thank you so much 🤝💖

The staff were great,they were quite busy but found us a table.
We ordered 2 smothered platters from the menu and it was lovely. There can always be more meat though. 😀

Attended a party with my 5 year old. My 5 year old loved playing in the soft play while myself and my mum friends had the all you can eat breakfast! Delicious! Worth the very cheap price of £9.50. Great selection - Even for a vegetarian!

Such friendly helpful and efficient staff. Such a shame they are all out of a job from 4th July as hotel rooms are more profitable

Very good indeed. First time ever in the area, and we found this little gem. Very quickly seated, We started with a nice glass of fresh orange juice and then fed with a good breakfast and a nice cappuccino.
In and out in 45 minutes paid less than £20.
The chap in charge was very helpful and efficient, too.

Really friendly staff. Great vegan options - vegan chocolate torte was incredible! The burger was amazing.

Came with my partner a few weeks back and the service was fantastic, the lady who showed us to the table was very polite and even the chef came out to serve our food, we've also come here before for the unlimited breakfast and it's absolutely fantastic, great value for money and love coming back. We had a voucher that we used aswell which went through smoothly so very happy with that. Will be visiting a lot more soon 😁

Stopped overnight at the premier Inn and this pub is where you can have an evening meal and breakfast. We done both, the evening meal was great, great price and decent quality. The kids play area is great and I must make a special mention to the staff member Tia, she was awesome with the kids. Playing games with them and just making them feel special. Overall a very pleasant experience

For your typical chain restaurant, the experience is enhanced by the eye of detail in the food and service.
Hot food, clean venue, friendly staff.

Charlotte was a very lovely human being who you can tell cares very much about her staff team and the quality of service they deliver.

Had the Fab, two for a tenner deal here at the time

Mixed grill, food was hotter and tastier than at other locations I have visited.
Congrats to kitchen

Waitress was also very good

I recently ate at the pub with my family, excellent service and the food was perfect.

I had the fish and chips and finished off with a triple chocolate brownie.

I recommended this family friendly restaurant and will definitely be returning.

We had the most amazing coustomer service the two men who took are orders and seated us were lovely and very friendly.. then nikki come took over table who kids found very funny she was awesome and polite and made us feel welcome and including children in conversations as well as my son expressing how amazing the food was and the pudding was in his words to dye for .. food was brilliant for the value money over all most kind caring staff and lovely food we've tasted other half loved his bbq ribs best hes had :) thank you 😊

Me and my fiance went here yesterday. I had the mixed
grill and Rob had the scampi and they were both delicious.

We parked in a disabled bay.

We are both disabled and getting about is always difficult. As soon as we arrived the two ladies on duty helped us to our table and brought our drinks over. They really couldn't do enough for us.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back there again.
