Wonderful care of both animals and customers. Love the fact we were properly vetted as serious and appropriate and extremely grateful for all the advice - which, by the way, the team continue to provide us on the phone without charge. We have a wonderful terrarium now and a very happy Gecko - and ten year old child owner.

My woodlice arrived in a nice box with air and substrate and it was all in good condition so wasn't squished during transit. Very active right away and hopefully will be good clean up crew in my GALS tank.

Stopped by Evolution Reptiles on my way past Oxford this morning and was really happy with the experience. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly cared about the welfare of the animals in store. This was reflected in the enclosure conditions and lighting/heating provisions provided. I’ll be sure to pop in again next time I’m in the area. Would recommend!

Popped in at the start of December to purchase my first jumping spider, did many months of research beforehand, spoke to the owner Pete for over an hour and he was absolutely brilliant, answered all of my questions and concerns, even got onto the subject of my interest in tarantulas also, I was treated as if I was the only customer in the shop, 100% focused. Anyone looking to purchase their first spider, reptile or whatever, evolution reptiles is the place for you, honestly, it doesn’t matter how far you have to travel, that time will be worth it, I’m looking forward to my future purchases.

Brilliant shop! The staff really know their stuff and give us advice if if we ask..there's even a form on their website to get advice. Great animals, great service and a great choice of decor and plants as well as animals.

I have a subscription for crickets and locusts , for my chameleon they always arrive on time, well packaged and if there are any problems they sort them quickly, communication is great, and they are reasonably priced can't fault them really, thanks 👍

Expert advice from fantastic, knowledgeable and caring staff. My leopard Gecko always comes back strong and healthy after boarding during our holidays. We travel over an hour to get here and it's totally worth the trip.

Got my gorgeous shell baby from here! They were absolutely lovely and very helpful, especially after a bad experience at a different reptile shop.

Really helpful knowledgeable and even in the current covid climate accommodating. Went in for a leopard gecko and the kids are besotted with our new pet.

We travelled all the way from London to come meet Luke after reading amazing reviews and speaking to him over the phone. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and given the best advices. We were so impressed by how clean the shop is compared to other reptile shops we visited which smelled really bad.
It took us easy 2.30 hours to shop for everything we need for our first bio active enclosure. We feel we were given the best advice for a successful set up and we are very excited. Cannot wait to come back to get our gecko. We cannot recommend this shop highly enough and thank Luke for his excellent customer skill and patience.
